You don't need to know anything about the story to appreciate it, but it's a good idea to have a broadband connection.
Halo, actually. =P
They do look similar, but it is Halo. The site is all about an online animation series that basically puts a ridiculous comedy plot over Halo's Capture-The-Flag multiplayer. The result is absolute genius!
That was as funny as Michael Moore in a pink sequinned tu-tu eating a Big Mac dancing to "Swan Lake."
