On the Gunny Bob Newman show and the Donna Star show here in Denver on KOA 850am tonight they have been talking about Denver mayor Hickenlooper's decision to ban the words 'Merry Christmas' from the traditional Parade of Lights downtown parade as well as any 'Christmas' float.
Liberal Jews.
How do you know this?

You got it exactly. "Very diverse" = "said no". Offensive? Well, maybe it's offensive to the Protestants that they should be shunned in a Christmas parade. Diverse? No.
Denver is known for this. I would guess it's 'blue' county territory in a 'red' state. At least they made the freemasons happy, and the ACLU.
Well that's obvious, we are the majority.
My question however, was who are these people that are offended by the word Christmas, or Christmas parade?
One poster said it is the liberal Jews.
We had a long running battle in our town over religious paintings being displayed at Christmas time in a city park here. It went on for years, but the courts finally overturned a judge's ruling that had banned them.
As soon as that happened, an out of state atheist group came in and hung a banner on the opposite side of the paintings proclaiming "Jesus is a Myth". That's when the fun begun. It was vandalized and burned numerous times and each time the atheist group would have travel down here to put it back up again. Police protection was ordered to protect it around the clock!
Then a friend of mine got the ingenious idea to have big motor home come in and block the cops view and he used it as cover to sneak over and cut it down again. It was all a real riot and front page news in our small town. They put it back up again, but they were being confronted more and more by irate citizens and they got scared and never came back.
