Wasn't this a South Park episode?
Maybe feeding the fetus to hungry people could solve that problem too.
I know someone who knows someone with a child with severe disability who went to China and had this done. The parents are beyond thrilled because their child is walking :( I guess I should be happy that the child is walking but it's just too Nazi-like for me.
Hahahahaha.....that's like me fixing a computer at work - 'I don't know what I did, but it's working again.' And I'm the site tech support - HA!
He's BSing. Our downfall in the West is too much compassion for people. China will be light years ahead of us in terms of research because of their endless supply of bodies. It's sick. It reminds me of Matrix.
I saw this on a CNN report months back. It featured an American then going there, don;t recall if it was the same. Showed no medical explanation.
Monstrous
"I don't agree with abortion, but it will happen anyway. In the US, we do abortions but don't use the cells. In China, they don't just take life and destroy it - they give something back. It's like lemonade out of lemons. You take something bad and you make it good." Such reasoning requires a moral somersault, but it is one that can be done easily in China."
I'm sure Planned Parenthood has already got a t-shirt ready for sale.
Coming soon to a hellish nightmare near you.
Doctors are technicians of the body; it's not their job to "know how", but to maintain health and to fix what they find wrong.
If you want an engineer, go to a laboratory reseacher. They know "how" better than anyone.
I wonder what the baby thought about it?
I understand that it is in no way the point of the article, but, I found it kind of funny that the "religion" most closely associated with Europe is agnosticism. Says lots about Europe...
You say "endless supply of bodies". I did the math from the story, and even though they say 'over 1,000,000' are killed because of their one child policy, the 4000 a day figure for abortions in the USA comes out to nearly a million and a half (1,460,000).
I'm going to believe this article right away!
Brave new world. But, there is one intriguing little thing...olfactory cells. Do you realize that we still do not know how the sense of smell works? There has been arguments for generations that it is electrical, chemical...but there isn't a definitive answer.
the guardian aka enquirer.
Whether I believe the story or not, the procedure is the moral equivalent of "Of course we pull the gold fillings before the dead Jew is thrown in the ovens. They're dead anyway, right?"
Why does Mexico and Latril (sp?) (alleged cancer cure)come to mind?
