Online Petition to Congress

Preserve Our Borders: Say NO to AMNESTY and the FTAA! Your influence is urgently needed to give Congress the backbone to resist dangerous proposals that would further undermine our national borders. As a first step, please read and send the following petition to your congressman and two U.S. senators. Then send this message to others in your circle of influence so that they can do likewise.

The proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) presents a serious threat to both our national borders and our national independence. The European-Union style FTAA is being deceptively promoted as an effort to increase prosperity through free trade. Instead, this revolutionary proposal would expand NAFTA to set up new layers of socialist regulation to which all nations of this hemisphere would have to submit.

As the peoples of Europe are discovering, their original so-called “free trade” bloc, the Common Market, was but a steppingstone to a merger of their nations under a regional government, with a common currency, a European central bank, a European army, and no enforcement of common borders.

Nafta does not set up new layers of socialist regulation. It undermines them. A free trade area is exactly what we should pursue as opposed to a customs union which was the precursor to the EU.

Yes,Mexico and other Latin American countries want a free flow of people as well as goods. We should oppose those proposals when they come and if they are included in a treaty.

However, expansion of a Nafta style agreement extends the principles of Anglo-American capitalism to Latin America. This is good for everyone. It makes them richer, less likely to ship their excess labor here, and makes them more likely to consume US products.

I will write my Senators, and my congressman urging him to support the FTAA.

"...Fox referred to a large impediment to his vision, 'what I dare to call the Anglo-Saxon prejudice against the establishment of supra-national organizations.' "

Is Fox using the phrase "Anglo-Saxon" to mean "white"?

"It makes them richer, less likely to ship their excess labor here,"

Yes, that's the same line they used to push NAFTA down our throats...worked REAL well, didn't it? This arguement reminds me of the the dumb trucker. He was buying watermelons for $1.00 each and selling them for $1.00 each. After awhile he realized he was not making any profit...SO...He bought a BIGGER truck.

Yeah, it certainly slowed down the illegal alien invasion under NAFTA, now didn't it? Mexico is so prosperous today that I hardly see more than 50 illegal day laborers standing on the corners and lots of Ventura, LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego counties in California. And Arizon has definitely benefited from the projected decrease in illegal entries that they had to past Proposition 200 just to survive. Yeah, that planned worked great.

Screw you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto. The FTAA is the road to subjugation of Americans to the hideous Latin American narcocracies, the death of the Independence or our country that was declared 228 years ago.

Ultimately, I believe, the borders will be erased to the detriment of ordinary Americans and the benefit of Mexico and, to a lesser extent, Canada. I think its inevitable, though we may be able to slow the process a bit.

Free trade will be beneficial but we may see something like the Okie and Arkie migrations of the 1930s with poor laborers flooding North across the open border looking for the opportunities offered in the US. Ask yourself 'did the migrations West in the 30s help California, or were they detrimental in the long term?'. Then consider the cultural differences and language that were not as big a factor with the Okies and Arkies.

Sounds like a bigot

He is a bigot. He's a Mexican bigot. Their hatred of white Americans - Anglo-Saxons - is the hatred of the egotistical loser, the hatred of resentment. The Mexican Caudillo's think that the sun rises and sets on them. They see themselves as "Beeg Men". But the reality of America shows them for what they are: thug tribalists living in the 7th century. Gee, sound like another part of the earth that currently has a poverty and violence problem, say, somewhere to the east of the Mediterranean? Same thing.

The only way the thugs can assuage the humiliation of being shown for what they are is to try and dominate us, whatever way they can. Illegal immigration, whining for special treatment, barking orders at us, demanding that we speak Spanish and accomodate their invasion are all part of that: a cheesy attempt by a thug culture to impose its will on a superior civilization.

But if that "superior civilization" lets the thugs do that to them, they ain't too superior.

No one should ever forget that this is what is happening. It has nothing to do with any egalitarian goal of "employement", or the "free flow of goods and people". It is all about a criminal class -- the upper class of Mexico and other Latin American countries -- trying to get power in the United States, and use it for their own sadistic, evil purposes!. And everyone should note that the current administration is all for it. So what does that say about them?!!

Nafta does not set up new layers of socialist regulation.

Like heck it doesn't. What do you suppose infrastructure development and capacity building means in the NAFTA, CAFTA and other "free trade" treaties means?

If you can't find the answer I'll help.

The only reason you would write your senators supporting the FTAA is because you are in favor of a supranational government that makes the United States equal partners with communist Venezuela and is populated by people who make policy who are not elected to represent us. FTAA brings us full circle from the American Revolution back to taxation without representation, because we are taxed and our wealth is redistributed by the OAS through Summit of Americas directives, with the sole purpose of establishing the FTAA, and we do not elect anyone to sit in those bodies. In fact, the US has a PERMANENT Minister to the OAS, utterly unelected and utterly unknown to most Americans.

Now, how can you support the usurpation of our government in this way?
