Nafta does not set up new layers of socialist regulation.
Like heck it doesn't. What do you suppose infrastructure development and capacity building means in the NAFTA, CAFTA and other "free trade" treaties means?
If you can't find the answer I'll help.
The only reason you would write your senators supporting the FTAA is because you are in favor of a supranational government that makes the United States equal partners with communist Venezuela and is populated by people who make policy who are not elected to represent us. FTAA brings us full circle from the American Revolution back to taxation without representation, because we are taxed and our wealth is redistributed by the OAS through Summit of Americas directives, with the sole purpose of establishing the FTAA, and we do not elect anyone to sit in those bodies. In fact, the US has a PERMANENT Minister to the OAS, utterly unelected and utterly unknown to most Americans.
Now, how can you support the usurpation of our government in this way?

Are you looking to live under the United Nations Charter instead of the US Constitution? Personal freedom and antional sovereignty don't mean anything to you?
http://www.un.org/aboutun/charter/ Here's the link to it. Be sure to read every word in the 19 Chapters.
