There are more than that!

Everything south of Karbala (Inclusive) is basically controlled by the multinational units.

There are also S. Koreans, Lithuanians, Norwegians, Australians, Spanish (WERE there), and even many more.

We took the Sunni Triangle and the Major cities Baghdad, Karbala, Ramadi, Tikrit and so on. We took on some of what we knew would be the worst areas.

Only 25% of the $87,500,000,000 will go for security. The rest goes for water, schools, power and much more. 3/4 of our money in the additional defense authorization for Iraq goes into humanitarian and support operations for Iraq. But as some Americans are realizing, this is not what sells advertisement on CNN on NBC. This is not what the Germans or French want to see. So the majority of our effort, time and money goes unnoticed. It’s not “spectacular” enough.

Since this war was deemed “unilateral” by the Germans and French, you will never hear of the multinational aspect of this war. When you do hear of it (Seldom) it will be with comments like, “The coalition of trash nations”. Meaning the US just assembled a bunch of stooges who are not worth much. They even listed them before; highlighting the participation of Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and a few others. The intent is obvious, discredit any belief that you are the minority in a coalition with China, Russia and France against this war.

Of course you still need to attack the legitimacy of the war to begin with. So you MUST demonstrate by ignoring and down playing any violations (35 incidences of two resolutions) of UN resolutions, possession of WMD (which HAVE been found), the connection with terrorism, the oppression of his own people, the threat posed to his neighbors. That’s why you hear comments like “There have been no finds of “substantial” amounts of chemical weapons.” You must ignore all connections to terror, attacks on neighbors and oppression of Kurds, Jews, Shia in south and so on. You can not allow a justification for war to exist if you are against it. So all the little things like Al Zakhari, MEK compounds, assassination plots against George H. Bush……….. Those will get down played while the age old and proven buzz themes come out of the closet. America is imperialistic, a hegemony and wants their oil. So as they talk of US oil interests they sure would like the Food For Oil program to continue.

Our media actually plays into our enemies hands. They, in pure self interest, motivated by the value of a commercial minute will assist in creating a dilapidated view of reality which undermines our efforts. They don’t care about the Iraqis, our soldiers, national defense, whether they are being manipulated or anything else. What can I earn, or with what level of “shock” affect can I become a big name (Michael Moore).

This war was justified, was proven right, was executed well, is a multilateral effort by a coalition of the willing to change the world to the better. Those against it, have no more than “Schadensfreude” (The pleasure of things gone bad and taking delight in misery of others) to look at and use as a justification for why they did nothing. They are left morally defeated and hoping for this to go bad and end up in a mess.
