Try this one out - Hold down your CTRL key while you roll that little roller in the middle of your mouse. Roll one direction, you get smaller type, the other way larger type.

NICE! Thanks for the tip. I've sometimes gotten FreeRepublic "stuck" in a small typeface before, and never knew how I did it or how to fix it. Apparently I had bumped the CTRL key while scrolling. And now I know how to fix it. Thanks much.
