This one is self-explanatory.
Yahoo News caption: A U.S. flag burns on the ground during a candlelight vigil against the war in Iraq on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, November 30, 2004. The vigil was part of a day of protests against the visit of U.S. President George W. Bush. (REUTERS/Christinne Muschi)

Free beer isn't in the Constitution, it's in the Bill of Rights.LOL! The Bill of Rights is the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. On second thought, maybe we ought to rethink the free beer movement...[wink]

Hey, like to help you out but ... we've had an on-going problem since the late 60's with the draft dodgers and military deserters who came up here and, like socialists everywhere, proceeded to worm their way into our most culturally sensitive institutions like education at all levels, the media, etc.
Tell you what, take them back and maybe we'll talk. OK?

The free beer guy was a counter-demonstrator. Concur. And he did a good job. One less freaky left wing weiner's sign in a photo, plus it mocks the wackos. And that's good.

I never saw that photo of GWB before. I love it! Where did you find it and is it real or a Photoshopped image?

Wolfstar, all the draft dodgers have done is give Canada a bad name. Why would they want more toxic trash up there for. It really is a beautiful country and not all Canadians hate America. Many stand with us especially the ones that post on FR. We just need to find another little world to send them to....maybe Pluto?

Things are finally going in the right direction now and I hope I will soon be able to admit to my grandkids in New Jersey that I am really a Canucklehead from Alberta and not an old cowpoke from Montana.

"There cannot be good living where there is not good drinking." - Benjamin Franklin
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin
"Before Noah, men having only water to drink, could not find the truth. Accordingly...they became abominably wicked, and they were justly exterminated by the water they loved to drink. This good man, Noah, having seen that all his contemporaries had perished by this unpleasant drink, took a dislike to it; and God, to relieve his dryness, created the vine and revealed to him the art of making le vin. By the aid of this liquid he unveiled more and more truth." - Benjamin Franklin

I copy and save the good images, not sure, it could be photoshopped, but not by me :~)

Tell you what, take them back and maybe we'll talk. OK?LOL! I live in the Los Angeles area, so I happen to know that much of our movie-making has already been shipped to Canada. But the Leftist "stars" still haven't kept their promises to move when GWB won. And we have Peter Jennings and a bunch of other Canadian Leftists worming there way into our institutions. Seems we have a common problem.

Pluto sounds good. Do you think we can get Alec Baldwin to keep his promise and move?

Thank you, I appreciate that and enjoyed visiting Canada many times and hope to do that again. If neighbors can't be friends then how can we expect to fix problems on the other side of the world?

I remember a photo exactly like that, except the President was waving at his dog, Spotty, to come along. I think the one you posted might have been Photoshopped, but so what. I like it anyway.

It is too bad that there are no counter-demonstrators, but then, it is a work day.
I do not believe in acknowledging the sicko protestors by turning around and burning a Canadian flag. We should respect their country, as probably most Canadians actually respect ours, and not let the worst people set the course of events.
After 9-11 my wife drove from Halifax to Maine, and almost every house along the way had a US plag displayed, to show solidarity. She was in tears by the time she reached the US, to think that people in small, rural homes in New Brunswick had managed to find American flags for the occasion.

Classical literature isn't exactly my forte but ... wasn't getting a commie to keep his word one of the legendary seven labors of Hercules?
Always told my kids: You can't spell liberal without spelling L-I-A-R.
