THE Miami terrorists are not a priority for the FBI, affirmed Judy Orihuela, spokes person for the Federal Bureau of Investigations office in Miami, in an interview published by The Sun-Sentinel. The assassination in Caracas of Venezuelan Public Prosecutor Danilo Anderson ended up displaying, in all its horror, the result of that policy of tolerance on the part of U.S. authorities towards the Miami circles that openly preach and practice terrorism.

I am a long time Florida resident and am proud to know some of those whom Granma and Fidel call terrorists: Bay of Pigs Veterans, anti-Castro activists, and Cuban American office holders. Some of my friends have even won the badge of honor of being denounced by name in Granma and the Cuban National Assembly. My understanding is that these days the Cubans and other exile groups are careful to stay within US law and mostly have a good relationship with the FBI. They know that gunplay with ties to US soil is unwise because of the risks and because Castro will soon croak. Cuba will then be free within days or weeks and Chavez will be left stranded and vulnerable. Be ready, but why try to rush history when it is moving your way?
