I'm with you.....good time for them to head for the border and hopefully not come back. Although we would have to find some other little trolls to have fun with.

The air is going to be fine. But, you know, the wildlife might actually have something to worry about! LOL

I methaned in their general direction. That should give them something to really complain about.

I still have yet to have anyone tell me how drilling in the AWNR is going to help. Every report I've seen says that production in the AWNR will never get to a level that it will affect oil and gas pricing in the U.S. If that's true, I can't see why it should be done.

I can report that there is already trouble for some wildlife and Bush hasn't even started his second term. I just returned from deer hunting in upstate Pa. and there is one less seven point buck running around Potter County...

Congrats! Might I suggest barbecuing the venison? Mmmmmmm.
Will do a bit of bragging though. My 11 year old nephew just got a 13 pointer. : )

I still have yet to have anyone tell me how drilling in the AWNR is going to help. Is it going to hurt? Well, why dont we stop drilling in West Texas, too? A lot of prarie dog country has been despoiled bu those massive rigs!
Oh, and pass the parsley sprigs and spinach leaves, please!

Environmentalist see trouble for wildlife?????
You mean the treehuggubg imbeciles who are blocking construction of a stretch of border fence on the Mexican boundary in California, because of an "endangered" (I HOPE EDIBLE) specie?????
TROUBLE IS WHAT THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS NEED TO SEE

There would be plenty of air to meet the needs of every life form on this planet, if only those environmentalists would stop hyper ventilating.

"Environmentalists See Trouble for Air, Wildlife in Bush's Second Term" Yes sir!
Trouble for the air is that US military jet aircraft are gonna suck it all up.
Trouble for the wildlife is all them there Al Qaeda types are gonna get killed.
Sorry ... I just couldn't help myself. ;)

The thing that they fear most is that people will get to see what a bunch of communist liars and money grubbers they are.
What most people don't know is how much taxpayer money these groups have gotten through grants and lawsuits over the years. Not to mention the lavish lifestyles of many of these groups directors.
About time.

Look at it this way, if they had opened ANWR up and then the president had ordered the strategic reserves filled, that oil could come strait from there to the tanks, pumped by Americans and put the money into American coffers. Even a few percentage points of production change from foreign to domestic can make a really big difference in price stabilization on the world market.
