Kerry picks up an additional 9300 votes (77%) after the finals vote tallys are submitted from Cuyahoga county Ohio. It is now mathematically impossible for Kerry to win in Ohio even if he would get 100% of the remaining provisional votes and 100% of the (93,000)undervotes

Quick somebody call Jesse, and tell him to stay out da bushes because there's no bag of uncounted votes behind dem bushes.

77% of the questionable votes versus 66% of the votes in Cuyahoga County on election day . . . Is there a statistician in the group who can forecast the probability of an 11% gain in a random distribution?
I am waiting with baited breath on the Pennsylvania recount since all the overseas votes (mainly military) were to be accepted if posted by election day.

Granted that is a bit odd, but i had anticipated that skerry would pick up around 8500 so no real surprise. It's all academic now anyway

Its Cleveland. Its all ooooooooooooooooooover, folks. No matter how much Jesse and the rent a mob remonstrate. There aren't enough votes in the rest of OH to help Kerry overcome Bush's lead. Its time to stick a fork in it. Congratulations, Mr. President!

You've got to admit that Kerry accepted defeat with more grace than Gore did. That's not saying much. Kerry's smarter than Gore.

But, but, but, what about all the folks over at DU who promised us that the Ohio recount would bring John Kerry sworn in on January 20th? ;-D

They still think that Gore won Florida. :) It's much more fun to just let them have their delusions and laugh.

Since when do facts matter.
Only thing that matters is the exit polling taken at 9am on election day.
Or where the exit polls manufactured weeks in advance. Inquiring minds want to know.

He just wasted $15,000,000.00.That money was promised to those lawyers. Kerry was just paying up on a deal cut long before Nov. 2.

Any estimates of what the final vote statewide will be when all the votes are counted? How many provisionals remain? Can't be too many more. I hope when all is said and done that GWB remains over 50% in Ohio so we can say he got an outright majority. He got just under 50% in 2000, and Clinton won Ohio twice with less than a majority. So for Mr Bush to take over 50% it's quite an accomplishment.

I'm sure the re-counters were all fanatical right-wing rednecks! I demand a recount of the recount!
