I agree wholeheartedly. I truly believe one of the problems most blue-state liberals have is a lack of exposure to the red states. They assume we are all idiots just because of accents and not choosing the same lives they have.
However, they expect all red staters to travel to their cities for "exposure" to culture.
I really believe if many of them were forced to live a year in a small rural community, they might come to respect our people and values more. They might not agree with them, and I would not ask that of them. But I don't believe a little respect is too much to ask!
Give the sorry ghoul standard arms and let him go door to door with the Army for a spell in Iraq. If I were only King for a day.
Green Day is soooooooo 1998
I was going to offer you Ted Kennedy and a political to be named later for cash. :-)
Jeez, the creep looks like a blow-up doll!
Well, what amazes me is their constant bantering of the red states yet their icon is Bill Clinton; John Edwards was their answer to winning the White House. Also, Jimmy Carter remains their idea of a compassionate politician.
Advice to Greenday: Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open thy mouth and remove all doubt.
This is how libs really think when they are who they are. They become completely unhinged! If you think you've seen them hit bottom, you haven't seen the worst of liberal behavior yet. The new year is going to give these folks an education they'll never forget. I can't wait for the President to show who's in charge in Washington. America is a very different country from one Ronald Reagan came to in 1981 and a lot better off for it.
I was constantly changing the radio station about 8 years back because of these jokers.
I was in a part of Boston last week, just off Boston Common. I saw about a half dozen um, shower-challenged individuals holding signs that read "The end is near for Dick Cheney" and other such pleasantries from the party of compassion. They were looking for signatures for Cheney's ouster. Twits.
Just a year or two ago, Gren Day was a washed up band. So was Garafalo. Then, they learned how to make a few more bucks: attack Bush and America. Nice to see their talent couldn't do it.
They may have made it in Australia but I doubt I'd be listening to any radio station playing them.
Let's challenge those wienies to a fight.
Oh, I forgot, they are wienies so they can't fight.
I'm trying to place these guys. Did they do that song "The Time of Your Life?"
Gotta admit I liked that one.
Oh well. I'm having a real struggle right now. The movie "Meet the Parents" looks pretty funny. But I DON'T want to spend a cent on anything Barbra StridentInsanity is in.
What we sacrifice for our principles ;-)
LNGOP'r
Could I get a rain check on that offer? I'd like to take you up on it, just before I move back down south. I know that would be a mean thing to do to the people of New Jersey, but for the most part, they deserve it.
Yes, they did that one. Although, that was really just more Billy Joe (the singer that made the comments). You would probably recognize other songs they did around 1994-96 . . . Longview, When I Come Around, etc.
I do plan on going to see Meet The Fockers, despite Streisand being in it. My plan to rectify the situation? I'm going to donate the same amount of money that I spend on the ticket to my local Republican Party. : )
"I think Green Day should be put on trial for crimes against music."
I second that motion. As punishment, Armstrong will receive a marathon haunting by the ghost of Bush-supporter Johnny Ramone, who will show that little piss-ant what it means to be a TRUE American punk (and kick his little a** twice over for stealing Ramone's chord structure).
They have a song out called "American Idiot." Autobiographal?
That's pretty funny and you understood even after my typo (I meant to say a politician to be named later). Now, look, if you don't agree to the trade now then I am calling another suitor.
Australian, eh?
Have you heard of the Distillers? Although they're mostly an L.A. punk band, their lead singer, Brody Dalle, is an Australian. I don't know if she ever hit it big in Australia, but even so...
The Distillers ROCK hard, and Brody is sexy as hell (and female, so don't get any false ideas about me : )
