Here is a link to an Official site of Russian State TV network RUSSIA TV.

http://www.vesti.ru/comments.html?id=31914&tid=25004

The article called (on main page) "Who pays for Ukrainian riots?" Describes how Ukrainian People's protest was orchestrated by George W. Bush via Richard Lugar and how millions of dollars from US and EU were paid to turn Ukraine in to a battle zone, a front to pressure Russia.. (Article assumes that everybody understands that main point of the WEST (US & EU) existance is disintegration of Russia)

What a remarkably astute observation!

The Ukraine could be used just as we use Iraq: to keep troops, armaments and a presence in the area.

Russia signs treaties and conducts secret business with all our other enemies, why shouldn't we get even closer to their center of power?

millions of dollars from US and EU

US and EU acting together on a project? Possible, but seems a stretch.

The Russians frequently accuse others of what they are planning.

Who TF needs to fight them and needs a front to do it? They have their Chechens, and both these richly deserve one another.

I have no animosity toward Russia or Russians or Putin for that matter.

Why would American want to fight Russia? If anything, a successful and prosperouos Russia will be a great benefit for America. Among other benefits, a free and prosperous Russia will be a counteracting power to China.

If the Russians don't start reproducing, they might lose Upper Manchuria and Siberia to China in a few decades.

Be happy we keep our tin-foilers well-chastised around here. I t seems that throughout the rest of the world including DU, the DNC, most of Europe, and apparently, the Russian Media they are rising to the top.

Just for fun, here is another article (russian) on this state run news web site that is called -

"Our Russian bomber is the strongest in the world"

and it talks about Tu-160 bomber, which is a DIRECT COPY OF B1-B stollen in 1974 from US..

We frequently accuse the Russians of accusing us of planning what we and they are planning.

Yes, and Putin is old KGB. On the other hand, it could be some desperate CIA personnel running loose after being swept out the door recently.:)

No, the Russians want the Ukraine, it's vital to their interests. Plus after Stalin starved to death a (wildly varying estimate) of 5 to 10 million Ukrainians in the early 1930s, he moved ethnic Russians in to where Ukraine is now estimated as 40% ethnic Russian. He used the same tactic with Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. Stalin liked to move the masses around.

Protest in Ukraine is a last try by Ukrainian people to get rid of the soviet style mafia leaders that were in power since USSR..

EU and US played minimum role in all of this..
Russia spend LOTS of effort to make sure their man wins, or else it would show Russian people they can make PUTIN ACCOUNTABLE as well - this is a nightmare scenario for Putin, this is why he needs people inside Russia to think that West (EU & US = NATO) is around the corner and trying to hurt Russia in every way..

Yeah, that's the thing. They try to throw off the old style of gov't and find it is still there. It's a huge task and they may not be successful in the short term.

>>>>>>Stalin liked to move the masses around<<<<<

Stalin preferred to kill masses (some 62 million) and relocate the rest. But:

1. Stalin was Georgian, not Russian
2. Russians were the bulk of 62 million dead
3. Russians live in Ukraine since 800's and not since 1930's

We may like Ruskies, we may hate them but we should keep the historical facts straight - FR is not DU
