It's now 2004. Christianity grew up and became civilized. Do Christians believe that the Bible should be the highest authority in America?
"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Qur'an should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth" -- Omar Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations), San Ramon Valley Herald, July 1998
Besides, the U.N. will be too busy issuing yet another resolution against Israel. They do that on a weekly basis now, and that seems to be all they do, when not bitching about the U.S.
Unfortunately, force is all these people understand and respect. They laugh at diplomacy, treaties and the like.
LOL! They only care about the U.N. when they can get another anti-Israel resolution out of them and when they can squeeze more money from them.
"It's now 2004. Christianity grew up and became civilized."
And until Islam does the same, we will see repeat episodes of 9-11. Better to encourage those that are trying to drag Islam into the 21st century.

"Do Christians believe that the Bible should be the highest authority in America?"
I believe most do.
I hope this is for real. It is about time someone in the Muslim community took a stand against the raping of their religion they claim is so peaceful! So far, I've seen the opposite.
You REALLY believe that most Christians believe the Bible should be the highest [political] authority in America? That is what the Islamic clerics are talking about. Or are you referring to Christians' belief that God should be the highest authority in their personal lives? If so...apples and oranges.
While I would agree and hope that the "moderate" Muslims would drag Islam into the 21st century, I can't see it happening without actually turning away from Mohammed completely. Christ solidified his message of love, tolerance, and forgivefulness by sacrificing his own life; Mohammed solidified his message of deceit by domination, intolerance, conquest, and murder. They report...you decide.
Also, have you asked what FMCAT's position on the following is? Do they support CAIR?

I'm prettymuch likeminded to what you say. I do, however, that here in the US, hope that any religious leader who endorses the deliberate killing of civilians be thrown in prison, with assets of his mosque, temple, whatever seized, and that every member of his congregation be monitored closely for an unknown period of time PRIOR to his arrest. No UN petitioning, however, other than the petition to kick the UN out of the US with a one way ticket to Somalia, Haiti, or possibly Kosovo. They can ignore speeding tickets in those countries [along with other laws] to their hearts' delight.
Petition the U.N.???
No thanks.
They can go to the hot-spot for all I care.
"We pray that Allah (God) will bless the Palestinian people to honor the goals and strength of Yasser Arafat."
"Do not let the talk of hidden bank accounts, money, corruption or what he gave to his wife and family diminish Yasser Arafats role or contribution to the struggle of the Palestinian people."
Q: Is this "Free Republic Network" the same one that first came into your mind?

"NOTE - Free Muslims Against Terrorism partnered with the Free Republic Network in the "National March Against Terror" and now are a lead organization in the "March Against Terror Worldwide" effort."
"The Free Muslims Against Terrorism (Free Muslims) have partnered with progressive Arabs and Muslims to hold religious leaders accountable for justifying violence and encouraging terrorism.
Thanks for the ping!
Is that the same thing as saying "Paris is a Mecca for cheese-eaters and wine drinkers"
The Bible is the highest authority of each Christian and Christianity. Give to America what is America's (Consititution, etc), give to God what is God's. As a Christian, I respect the separation of Church and State. It works for me.
