I would love to know who that "mystery caller" was who phoned the White House after Foster's death and talked to Linda Tripp. We speculated about it at some length here in Free Republic, but did not reach any solid conclusion.

Although we don't know for sure exactly how the decision to attack was reached, we DO KNOW that it occurred under Bill and Hillary's watch as president (and "co-president").
Judging from subsequent events, in all probability the decision resulted from an Executive Order issued by the White House (i.e. the Clintons). Executive Orders are instructions issued by the White House which do not have to be reported to the public or the Legislative Branch (Congress). The Clintons have made extensive use of Executive Orders during their administration to overstep their Constitutional authority.

Barbara Olson’s brave family and publishers decided to go ahead with the printing of her book. May God protect others who are still alive.
