Again, you discuss the act of sex, not the state of being which creates homosexuality.

You may spend your whole life deciding not to engage in homosexual activity in spite of the fact that you are sexually attracted to men, but that does not mean that you are not a homosexual...it just means that you do not engage in the homosexual act.

If homosexuality is a choice, do you recall the moment that you made the choice NOT to be a homosexual?

How about we agree there is a continuum. With the vast majority attracted to the opposite gender. And among those attracted to the same gender there are strong attractions and weak attractions. And for those on the cusp, how they fall may well depend on recruitment and on home situations. I can accept this. I still don't have to accept open homosexuality in public.

"I still don't have to accept open homosexuality in public."

Do you then accept open heterosexuality in public?

And what exactly does "open homosexuality" mean?

I'll lead...I don't like ANY sexuality in public.

Which is why it shouldn't be celebrated but cured.

You actually just made my point for me. You had an immediate reaction, that wasn't a choice.

Thank God you ain't doing science. I bet would have made the same quick decision if you had asked him to rob a liquor store.

I confess open sexuallity in public is not appreciated even when its heterosexual, but I am even more upset by homosexual public activity. What I really mean is I don't have to accept that loving sexual relations between members of the same sex is normal and should be supported by the public.

It's nurture, and probably starts the minute one recognizes mom and dad, grandpa and grandma, aunt and uncle. That's why they want access to your children at a young age. So they can teach them to be queer. Not only that but 46% of queer men were sodomized before the age of consent. So there's another ugly aspect to this perversion.

I agree that homosexuals want to get to the young when the opposit sex is "icky" to train the impressionable children to keep hating the opposite sex.

I don't believe that everyone has to "make a choice" regarding their sexual preference.. just those with the tendency (or generational sin) of homosexuality.
Just like the children of many alcoholics.. they absolutely have the tendency toward alcoholism. They make a choice to take that first drink, and they find themselves in a lifetime of recovery.. or not.
I on the other hand don't worry about becoming an alcoholic because it is not the sin nature that I have a weakness to. Now.. chocolate, Ice Cream.. french silk pie.. I never should have had that first candy bar! I'm looking a lot like my mother, and her father, and his mother..
My point is that everyone struggles with different weaknesses.. and that is absolutely undeniable. God said many times throughout the old testament that the sins of the fathers are passed down to the second and third generation. There is a pivital point for all of us to follow that line or break it.

What's worse is that 87% of statistics are made up.

Anyone who claims to have absolute statistics like this on an issue like sexuality is trying to prove a point they'd reached before they'd ever come up with the number. Come now. Do you really believe someone could know something like that?

Most expositors of Scripture would answer that before the fall of man into Sin (which is a state not just on particular sin) that man was perfect and so able to be in God's Presence and communicate with Him. Once humans disobeyed God they fell from that perfect state. Now being imperfect they corrupted themselves and continued to fall into a state of sin. The sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was to take the consequences of sin from us and the ressurection and ascension into heaven was to restore us (through Jesus Christ)to communion with God.

Beautifully exposited!

There are repeated surveys of homosexuals which supports the proposition that the majority have had their first sexual experience before becoming an adult with an adult.

Even examinations like the book "sissyboy syndrome" support the proposition that envirnmental factors INTERFEAR with normal sexual development to produce homosexuality.

You're right of course. The 46% comes from a study done in San Francisco of 653 or so queer men... Like most of these "academic" studies done by leftist maggots, I would stongly suspect they massaged the data or questions DOWN. It's probably much higher.

"I sat down one afternoon and decided to develop overwhelming urges to engage in heretofore unfathomable behavior with them?"

BUT, you suppress urges to force females to have sex. You suppress urges to have sex with underage females. You suppress urges for heterosexual incest. You suppress urges for rampant heterosexual anonymous sex.

My guess would be that those heterosexual urges, likewise, are "not even a consideration" for you.

Yet homosexual urges are impossible to suppress?

"Exactly 2/1000 of a second after the concept was brought to my attention"

So! You considered it, huh?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Homosexual Agenda Ping. I just read the small excerpt of the article so I don't know if it's any good. BUT - down the thread there are excellent links and a good discussion. Many points made. Especially a list of links about FORMER homosexuals.

If there are former homosexuals, that is proof right there that homosexuality is not genetic.

There are no former black people, former Chinese people, former caucasians, former men or women*, or fomer humans.

*Even transsexuals still have the DNA for the person they were born. A man who "transforms" himself into a so-called woman is not a woman. He is a man who has committed bodily torture in order to masquerade as a woman. That's all. It's a mental illness.

Let me and ItsOurTimeNow if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

There are no former black people...

That's not what the NAACP says about Justice Clarence Thomas. ;-)

I perfectly agree with you: We do choose our desires.

I'm hoping this is a typo.

There aren't tens of thousands of former homosexuals.

Yes, there are, and the number is growing. We don't have to personally know tens of thousands of former homosexuals to know they exist. We can read their life stories and websites, some of who are listed in post 39.
