Great post!
Yes, the federal government of these United States has overstepped its bounds and much of the offenses contributing to the First and Second American Wars for Independence could be argued again today against our current federal government. I am not an anarchist either, for anarchy is when the people are outside the law, as tyranny is when the government is outside the law. Yet, the Declaration makes clear our lawful duties as patriots.
As that famous naval officer, John Paul Jones, so boldly declared, "I have not yet begun to fight!" We are in a struggle to preserve the original vision of our founders.
Also, consider visiting my post: "The Separation of Church and State Myth: Why God MUST be Acknowledged."
Most Respectfully,
Your Humble Servant and fellow American,
B. M. C.

... appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions ...
Do you think members of the liberal left, who have actually read this document, believe:
A. the "Supreme Judge of the world" was an atheist
B. rectitude is the cleansing process of the large intestine
C. this was propaganda to draw the un-educated common man into war
