Susan Estrich on Teresa Heinz Kerry
Creators.com ^ | NOVEMBER 24, 2004 | Susan Estrich

If anyone has some major rehabilitation work to do in the new year, it is Teresa Heinz Kerry. As the Kerrys head for their swank vacation home this year without the press corps tallying how much it cost, or the Secret Service following too closely on the slopes, the might-have-been first lady and still extremely major philanthropist has some major thinking to do about the damage she did to her own reputation in the major run that just ended.

My guess is THK has about 30 IQ points on Hillary and fully expects people to listen and act on what she says. Hillary has this idea that you have to be "clever" and get people to act on what you say -- it's a very middlebrow attitude.

The other amusing thing about Susan is her performance on Fox on election day. That look of barely repressed rage over voter polling -- it was all HER plan, HER idea, and it WORKED! She'd stake her reputation on it, blah, blah, blah. Clearly, there'd been a lot of bickering off air about the skewed Kerry numbers, and Susan was defending every one of them to the death. Brit Hume must have told her she was crazy or else Kerry people had cooked the numbers. Well, Kerry lost, the numbers were indeed cooked, he lost(like Dukakis, heheheheh....and one wonders if she's the one who told Kerry to pay a visit to NASA and put on the blue bunny suit). Did I mention that he lost? Saw a tv promotional spot early this am, local Boston station, featured Kerry walking around giving his views on God only knows what...and I thought, why are they running this? Kerry's irrelevant. An old spot, I guess, and it's evident that Susan's days as a big thinker in RAT party circles is kaput.

I won't say one disparaging word about Susan Excrement ... she does well enough on her own

CUM GRANO SALIS

Ms. Estrich, like most other finger-pointers in the big Democrat post-election recrimination-fest, conveniently forgets about JFK's biggest handicap: which is JFK. Oh yeah, BTW, his old lady is a billionaire bimbo, which is obviously why he hooked up with her. The real mystery is still why a straight-shooter like Senator Heinz married her.

But why blame the funky "African-American" now? Did the Democrat Party really think they could slide this faux-Hibernian Clymer and traitor by a majority of the American people, as opposed to the dim-witted drunk-and-degenerate-enablers of Massachusetts? IMHO that was a bit like running Benedict Arnold.

General Arnold was a highly decorated officer, too. But as I recall, there was scant sympathy for him after he took up with the enemy. Hey, ya think Hillary already knew all this? The really scary thing is that JFK took 49%. Like who are those people and what the hell could they possibly be thinking?

And another thing, I never thought I'd read Susan and agree with her on anything! Well I can't believe that I agree with Susan either.

Hillary has cast a spell over 48% of this country. She knows the game of hardball politics and I believe she is the most ruthless politician in the game of politics. She is said to be the smartest woman alive by Democrats. We know she is not that. (P.S. Did you see what the dollar did yesterday? Even Tehesa + Hillary can't fix it. Heavy duty goings on.)

Please don't post any comments on Susans personal appearance, voice, drinking habits or etc

Why? Did she show up on TV disheveled and drunk again?

A thoughtful article by a partisan Democrat operative. That said, many of Ms Estrich's points were all fine and good, but, in the end the candidate and his ever changing "message" is wha tdamaged sKerry. Had the Lame Stream Media even gave Dubya a quarter the positive press that sKerry got, it would have been a 60-40 or higher margin .

Susan Estrich has a first class mind that unforunately cannot remove the dying grip of socialistic victimology from it.

My guess is THK has about 30 IQ points on Hillary...

Interesting thought.

My guess is Hilary has 60 IQ points on Theresa, but Theresa is to dumb to figure this out but she instinctively knows she is in the lead because she has like 2 billion on Hillary...

TSW: I've seen both Bill and Hillary speak live in person at different times. Hillary is not that bright and she's not that good a politician. And women instinctively hate her. Even many NY women hate her. Bill is something else altogether, but his career is over.

Gee, that's funny, Susan slobbered all over the Kerrys during the campaign, and now she's critical? Golly, is this RAT hypocrisy? (and I didn't say a bad word about either one of the skanks)

I'm not sure she even wants to be a newly-reelected Senator while she runs for President.

I don't think a little inconvenience like that would get in the way of her huge ego.

He will learn quickly who the real star of the party is.

Plus the fact that he is way too young and inexperienced. The next four years should be very interesting as the dimrats realign themselves like chess players.

And yes, did see the economic stuff from yesterday. Very scary. And I believe China will unhook the yuan from the dollar. When that happens, look out.

"running a major foundation" is an occupation only Soap-Opera characters have....

This is the part that gave me a chuckle. How difficult is it to give money away? How exactly would one fail at that task?

You give money to the wrong people and become a joke. Your pet project in a third world country is ineffective and lives are lost. You don't get the most bang for the buck.
