The Juan and only at it again...

Juan Williams was beyond belief tonight on FOX. He started in on the "jobless recovery" and how "hurting" the average guy is out here in America. Fred Barns started bi+(h slapping him and telling him that he ought to try reading a newspaper and get his facts straight. Juan looked totally surprised that he was being called on these talking points and then Krauthammer lit into him and essentially said that he was enjoying the a$$ kicking Fred was administering.

I wonder how the hell much they pay Juan to sit there and be a punching bag like that? I know that his being a Liberal and a black is killing two birds with one stone for FOX but the way he's getting his a$$ stomped lately by the rest of the panel is going to be considered a hate crime if it keeps up.

LOL, the funniest part was that Brit wasn't there to get things started. It was great!

The guy is pathetic. Does he ever think. Who feeds him his talking points. He sounds and looks like a DNC hand puppet.

What these guys will do for face time and a check.

I think Juan is also drawing a paycheck from the DNC for spewing the talking points while holding a day job at FoxNews.

I don't imagine it's that easy to get people to reiterate the drivel Juan was drooling today, but someones gotta do it. Otherwise we might start taking him seriesly, that's not likely.

The DNC paying a guy to spew their talking points just to see those same talking points get taken apart piece by piece by bright conservatives like Krauthammer and Brit isn't such a sharp move.

I think he believes what he says. He is a died in the wool extremist liberal, he also, remember, is on public radio.

You are probably right, I've watched this scenario a lot of times.

That said, I'm glad he's there. I get to hear what the talking points are, and Juan is nice about it. ;-D

I know....I'm just grasping at straws for reasons why this guy would want to take this kind of punishment every week.

You have to admit....it's rather like pundit WWF....I love to see Brit, Fred, Kristol, Charles, and even Mort now and then, walk all over Juan. It makes for good theater.

I am not at all any fan of Juan Williams, BUT: having said that I will say that he *sometimes* comes across as a nice guy - severely misinformed and brainwashed by his DNC masters, but basically a nice guy.

I would LIKE to think that the reason FOX keeps him around is that one day, some way, the honchos at FOX believe that Williams might see the light, and be 'saved' from his lifelong embrace of all things liberal, DemocRATic, and WRONG. Williams is not a stupid person, but he allows himself to be led into appearing stupid because he reacts with true, genuine kneejerking when he is confronted with any number of conservative vs. liberal issues.

But in his eyes, (which as someone once said, are the windows to the soul) what I see leads me to believe that he knows just how wrong he is, how failed his fellow liberals are, and he just wishes there were some way to make a clean break with his past, or at least to begin seeing the world as seen by Senator Zell Miller (God Bless That Fine American!)...

They need to can Juan. Juan has lost touch with reality after spending too much time in the bubble at PBS.

>>>Juan is a glutton for punishment, for sure.<<<

Slowly, all too slowly, the days of there being three liberals ganging up on one conservative, usually chosen for his/her inarticulateness, are disappearing.

The pendulum has bottomed out and is rising to the right again. We still have a ways to go with ABCCBSNBCPBSNYTLAT et al....but we'll get there.
