As to the soviet and chinese junk in question, I'll stick with my M-14 clones/knock-offs/copies the M1A. And yes I have a M-16 clone/knock-off/copy the EA-15 H-bar (highly modified). But its a wimps rifle and I rarely use it.

Gee, I am impressed. You tout yourself as a big-time shooter, but fail in the clutch. At least you have reasonable taste in weapons.

Just for the record, Yes, I do consider myself somewhat of a weapons expert, having been called to testify in court as an expert witness on the ballistic effects of military weapons. I am an ex-cop (recently resigned), now a PI. My second to last assignment was in the ballistics section at our department crime lab. And yes, I am a retired CWO from the USMC.

Thats the nice thing about competetive shooting. I know what I can do and I know what the rest can do because its all right there in black and white at the end of the day.

And one thing I have learned is that the people who are full of talk regarding their expertise in the morning are generally the ones full of excuses at the end of the day when the scores are tallied.

Usually someone claiming to be a Marine who could shoot six inch groups at 500 meters all day long with his rack grade M-16 and 55 grain GI ball ammo back when he was in the Corp.
