Chemical Weapons Lab in Fallujah ??

Baghdad,11/25/04 - Reuters,etc.

Iraqi Minister of State Kassim Daoud says a chemical weapons lab has been found in Fallujah.

" Soldiers from the Iraqi National Guard found a laboratory that was used to prepare deadly explosives and poisons," the Minister told a press conference.

"They also found in the lab booklets and instructions on how to make bombs and poisons. They even talked about the production of anthrax."

Yesterday,US Marines in Fallujah reported the discovery of a banner used by Abu Musab Zarqawi in a chemical laboratory/workshop in Fallujah, but said there was no indication this lab was being used to prepare chemical weapons.

It is unclear if Minister Daoud was referring to the same lab in his remarks today.A Marine spokesperson could not verify Daoud's claims,or comment on them one way or the other.

Glimpsed the end of a Fox News Alert confirming this story has gotten past the wires.

Looks like WMDs in Iraq exist in Iraq (did we ever have a doubt).

Read another report and it says the Military hasn't officially verified this report. Will try to find the article.

Bush planned this "discovery" just in time for the election. It was a plant.

I wonder if any of this stuff was removed when the terrorists got out of Dodge?

But everyone knows there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. It was all lies from Condoleeza Rice and Dick Cheney, right? So these must have been planted by a secret cabal headed up by Cheney and Halliburton executives...

Mr. Books' first rule of low blood pressure: Ignore all primary reports out of the middle east regarding anything, especially the discovery of WMD.

But...but...they can't! Hans Blix and John Kerry and all those other people said so.

(They're not just in Fallujah, either...)

IMHO, an article like this tends to lead to a "rush to judgement" The lead in for Dan Rather's Thanksgiving 2004 broadcast will tell us that at FIRST it was thought to be a weapons lab, but upon later review, it was found to be part of an Iraqi catering business.

The so-called "lab" was actually used for measuring ingredients used in making cakes and "punch" for the many Iraqi weddings that the US Military has managed to indescriminately bomb, which has killed so many innocent Iraqi women and children participants, since the US's completely illegal, unprovoked invasion, and occupation in 2003.

(Happy Thankgiving fellow Freepers , and sarcasm off thingee goes in this spot....)

And probably if they look real close inside the lab OBL will be found.

All those people gassed to death, shoved in mass graves, and tortured were really just part of a reality TV show for the enjoyment of the arab world.

But of course!

This is what the RATS and Blue Butts will say: If we hadn't have forced them to do it by invading they'd never have felt the need for chemical weapons. It's Bush's fault.

That's okay, I could use a vacation on the beach: no job or housework, someone else doing the cooking and cleaning, blue skies and balmy temperatures, having my meals brought to me by handsome young military guys in sexy uniforms, going off for private conversations with intelligence officers...Sounds great! Sign me up!
