Looks like the housecleaning is continuing. Good.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. They only missed 9/11, the perpetrator(s) of the anthrax attacks, WMD's not in Iraq, WMD's in Libya, India's nuclear tests, Taiwan/South Africa/Israel's South Pacific nuclear test, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the collapse of the Soviet Union, etc.
How could the CIA be any worse? Fire them all.

"The two officials were in the highest level of clandestine service, the directorate of operations," So high they were on the highest level of clandestine service, that upon their departure, they couldn't wait to leak it to the New York Times.

First the media says the CIA is a mess and no one lost their jobs over Iraq, now that the housecleaning is happening, the CIA is in a turmoil...which is it???????
To: FairOpinion
The agency that said the WMD case in Iraq was a slam-dunk--
That still is in denial over the April 2001 Prague meet of Atta and al-Ani--
That remains clueless about Iran and North Korea--
There wasn't this much wailing and gnashing of teeth Halloween 1977 when Carter's Turner axed 820 case officers--when the agency lost as many as 2,000 in resignations which followed.
To the bleating departees: door, ass; rinse, repeat.
To Porter Goss: boot, ass--and don't spare Valerie Plame.

I hope each of them was given a stopped gold watch - memorializing how often they and the Stansfield Turner trash they represent, have been right about anything through the years.

"Two chiefs of overseas divisions at the CIA are leaving the spy agency, which has been in turmoil since new director Porter Goss took over"...
Um, Gee, I think it's called taking out the garbage from the prior tenant. I, usually, have to do that when a tenant moves out, too! I hope Director Goss paints and puts in new carpet, as well. :)
