If he had been "playing God", he would have reached across the counter and caved her head in with a large, blunt object.

But instead, he was "playing" man of conviction! He was "playing" man who KNOWS right from wrong. Which is more than can be said of the potential customer.

This is the entire crux: the pharmacist is making life and death decisions - not her.

All such idiots should be driven from normal society and forced to live in scrub woodlands, culverts, under bridges and other wasteland refuges. Sterilize them and take their children first - then turn them loose to live free or die or whatever the hell it is they have tattooed on their boobs and @ss cheeks.
