--- 5th Channel reports:
"On Wednesday in the airport "Borispol" two planes landed with Russian Special Forces "Vityaz" onboard.
Col. Lyashenko (SBU, Ukraine) was responsible for service and landing of this planes inside Ukraine.
He refused to carry out order to let Russian Special Forces land in the capital of Ukraine - Kiev. He resigned from his SBU (exKGB) position today.
He was removed from duty and planes were landed anyway.
Ukrainian Central Command reported that incident to the head of SBU Igor Smeshko, for investigation, and also requested protection for Col. Lyashenko "because his life is in danger".
Deputy of military intelligence of SBU confirmed by the phone that Col. Lyashenko is working for SBU and that he resigned today. But Deputy refused to name a reason for resignation and also declined that two Russian planes landing in Borispol Airport."
With stories of Russian tanks heading for Kiev, are we talking about an invasion here?
Hide the women and children.
The Ukrainian military won't shoot their own citizens so Putin's lackeys are calling for the Russian military to do their dirty work.
>With stories of Russian tanks heading for Kiev, are we >talking about an invasion here?
Those are probably Ukrainian, atleast there are no stories about them being russian. Those were 12 APCs not tanks.
But Specials Forces flown from Russia seems to be true.. there are many reports of that..
Two planes versus thousands on the streets. That's some show of power. :-)
Don't look too high speed to me - in fact they look like a receiving line for a hand grenade or for a short burst of M240 - takes care of all of them in that photo. Well fed there as well, IMO, but with only one soldier "at the ready". The rest look confused.
Probably just happy enough to not be in Ikcheria.
Incoming Ukraine.
Pinging my favorite Putin apologist....
This picture is an archive image, they are probably training somewhere in russia.
In Ukraine they were sent because goverment is afraid its own army will not shoot its own people.. but Russians will.
Welcome to the fun. Putin is taking over the world with a few planes full of men and some imaginary tanks.
You should start working for CNN! :)
I have heard they just don't pay.
Russian Special Forces are some of the best in the world. Just ask the Terrorists who took over a theater a while back.
>Nonsense! One report says two planes landed with 30 >Russian Special Forces on each plane. The second report >says 1,000 Special Forces landed on two planes. This is >otal nonsense, and nothing more than propaganda.
Links????
They probably learned that trick from the Moscow Circus. Have you seen it, btw?
