Oh, I've got cameras working every angle of the hangar. We've also got a TV and DVD player.

Hell, they won't let us be armed, and we don't even have a weapons locker here.

We had two people on watch. The E-4 and below got to wander around the hangar, flight line and squadron spaces with a radio and a flashlight. They had nightsticks for a while, until we figured out that no one had any training on them and they were as likely to hurt themselves as an intruder. The E-5 or E-6 stood the phone watch and the E-7 and up stood their watches from home.

In New Orleans we shared a hangar with a Marine UH-1N squadron. They had cameras. We still walked around. It was humiliating.

But that's what happens when you have nearly unlimited manpower and the manpower can't quit. :)

Lessee....Maine, Navy...that would be Brunswick, eh?

P-3s and C-130s, if memory serves. We used to send A-7s cross-country up there with blivits full of crawfish and trade for lobster.

They won't let you be armed?????

What are you supposed to do if something were to happen... watch the camera and call someone? That's doesn't sound very smart, or safe. Also, something I don't think an enemy should know...

God Bless you guys and gals, stay safe, and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
