Enjoy your evening on the beach at Sanity Island!
Actually I heard they had T-Giving dinner with the King and Queen yesterday . . .
The reporters are being vvveerrrryyyy careful not to say he's there . . . I still remember last year when they talked all morning about how he was enjoying lunch . . . then had to eat their words--HAHA!
I didn't know the Pres. and the King and Queen got along so well . . . the Pres. only invites "really" special people to the ranch. Wouldn't you love a tour of the ranch in his truck? Bet the king has more fun in Texas than on any other state trip!
Laura's mom is at the ranch too . . . maybe she and Barbara and Barney were having "girl" talk.
Sounds like a wonderful tradition! What kind of salad are you making?
And have a great weekend with your family, too!
I'm thankful for sooo many blessings this year, and my friends on the Dose are some of them.
God's blessings to all of you and your families!
What kind of salad are you making?
I just finished making the salad. It is in my pickup truck ready to go and I am early and so checking the Dose. I am glad I saw your message.
It is a salad I learned to make from a friend who had a little restaurant in San Francisco years ago. It never comes out the same. But I tasted everything before putting it in. Lettuce, brocoli, green pepper, honey dew melon, bosc pear, chopped cashew nuts, raisins, (Oh! I forgot to put the chopped green onions in!), dressing of mayonaise, yogurt, pineapple juice and a little salt and pepper. Wish you were here to have some. Happy Thanksgiving.
And a special joy you are .. Happy Thanksgiving to All
