Bloggers Force Retirement of 73-Year-Old Newsman

The blogosphere, an ad hoc network of news commentary web journals created by pajama-clad scribes who write so well they don't need editors, claimed another triumph this week, forcing the retirement of Dan Rather, a 73-year-old news anchor whose show ranked a distant third in a field of three.

"We have put the MSM [main stream media] on notice," wrote one unnamed blogger. "If we can do this to a septuagenarian at the sunset of his career, who can withstand our withering firepower?"

The official unnamed spokesman for the blogosphere said the next target for "Operation Early Retirement" is 86-year-old CBS correspondent Mike Wallace.

Don't believe for a second that the MSM listens to the unwashed masses.

Pajamas are a wonderfully comfortable uniform...and they're so camouflaged.

While the thought that the pajamahadeen had an impact on Rather and his early departure, I just cannot believe it.

The MSM is so blindingly arrogant, I don't think they really care what the "masses" think or say.

The blogosphere, an ad hoc network of news commentary web journals created by pajama-clad scribes...........

Even Einstein wore pajamas (or underwear or nothing) for 6 to 8 hours out of every day.

"Blogs" did not break this story. The FreeRepublic Forum did.

Our strength is that we have thousands of members with decades of real world experiences in thousands of different civilian and military jobs.

The puny research departments of CBS or any other network news organization can never match that.

So, MSM, falsify the news at your own peril.

Dan Rather never fully admitted that he trumped a bogus story meant to effect an election......... and CBS didn't force him to admit his true fradulent actions.

Dan Rather hasn't admitted that his retirement is somewhat early due to being exposed as a fraud...... and CBS won't force him to admit such.

This thing ain't over til he is unequivically shamed in a way that even he and CBS can't deny. Don't hold your breath. Until then, we can continue to see his handi work on 60 Minutes.

White boxer shorts and white T-shirts a size or two larger are just fine for trolling around and sleeping in. Just like basic training:)

I had to laugh when I say the ratings for the three network news shows that night. Not even his Opus could drum up viewers so he still ran third...
