You've got to keep recounting until it comes out the way you want it to. I believe that's in chapter 1 of the Democrat playbook.

OK Washington Legal Eagle Freepers. Is there any legal basis for ordering yet another recount?

"the Democrats are expected to demand yet another recount."
Whoa...even the AP seems to be treating the Dems' failure to accept reality with some degree of scorn.

...Democrats had signaled they would seek a hand recount in at least part of the stateAnd we all know what part of the state they will choose.

I guess the Democrats are going to insist they count the votes until they get the answer they're looking for. What makes anyone confident that a hand count will be more accurate than a machine count? Isn't that why we had the Industrial Revolution - to make repetitive tasks easier?
I'm having a Florida flashback. I think I said the same thing 4 years ago.

in at least part of the state. Sounds like SoreLoserman all over again. Just count where you might be able to add bogus votes.

Is Gore the advisor in that re-count?
To: West Coast Conservative
Based on the final tally, it seems that Gregoire picked up about 220 votes in King County; prior to today, his lead was about 260 votes. So the Dems will keep on counting in King Co until they get the right answer.

Isn't it funny how the Dems always fail at manufactuering enough votes the 1st time around and then they fail the 2nd time as well during their recount.
Oh well. . . I guess 3rd times a charm. . .

So, I was glad to hear the news, yet the Secretary of State site does not yet have the results from Kitsap county and the current tally favors Gregoire! Show me the numbers!!!

I'm confused; on another thread, there was a link to the official state recount site, and it showed Gregoire ahead by more than 1,000 votes as of 12:34 p.m.

Paul Berendt is the State Dim Chair. Total Neanderthal. Basic line of chatter is "count all the votes" which translates into "how many do we need?"
He's been calling Rossi's 261 vote lead "a tie". Now what's he going to call a 42 vote lead, a Chrissie victory?
The Dims won't be honorable and concede. It's about power and not service.
The re-recount needs to have the bright lights of clear transparency shinned upon it. KingCo is so heavily democrat that my guess is right now some ballots are being phonied up in the basement of the King County Court House. By the time this gets before the federal judge next week, the dims will have 50 votes in their pockets.
Is anyone else smelling due process violations here?
Ciao

At this point, a 42 vote margin sounds to me like a landslide.
This is, after all, three weeks and a day after the November general election... I do hope that Gregiore does the right thing and concedes NOW, rather than dragging this out through a third recount. That could last another month.

But even before the last big surge of ballots was tallied, Democrats had signaled they would seek a hand recount in at least part of the state. Did'nt the SCOTUS pronounce that UNCONSTITUTIONAL in Bush vs Gore?

Gregoire is also widely known for being the most6 corrupt AG in state history. She's going to eventually go to prison for her public corruption.
