I'm being a little bit facetious, though I agree with Astronaut in his previous post right before yours. The "qualifications" needed by these glorified prompter readers is vastly overstated. I think the average bimbo could do just as good a job as these guys with their phony air of gravitas.

I heard ya, I heard ya -- You
really like Carville, dontcha? ;-)
Carville as an anchor would actually be a blast.

Who will replace Dan Rather? The INTERNET. It happened a while back, when the MSM wasn't looking.

It doesn't really matter who the anchor is. They destroyed the franchise.

My uncle's goat would make a great replacement. And it keeps the yard neat, too.

speculation is on about who will next occupy one of the most visible chairs in American journalism.
These people are delusional, Rather ran this "throne" into
the toilet years ago. The question is will anybody take it.

I'd rather see CBS completely done away with. It's entirely unwatchable, from the news programs, to the sports, even to the primetime lineup. Hate to break this to you but as attractive as she is, Laurie Dhue is incapable of carrying the entire network on her shoulders.
