GAO is very biased imho and has come out with several reports very critical of Bush. What's up?

GAO is very biased

I worked there briefly in the early 1990s. Rats outnumbered (and still do, according to my old colleagues) Republicans by something like ten to one. While the organization purports to be unbiased, ideology underscores everything they do.

Not only does the reporter get the name wrong, the AP editors let it go thrugh uncorrected. It is THE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING OFFICE (GAO), not ''Accountability'' office. Bunch of Morons at the helm of a major news system.

Effective July 7, 2004, the GAO's legal name became the Government Accountability Office.

Thanks for the update, but what a ''revoltin' state of affairs.''

These people are bean counters. Their only frame of reference is the spreadsheet.
