I've been using the term Eurabia here for over a year (I think I first saw it in Foreign Affairs Quarterly). I see two roads for Old Europe: a return to facism or a surrender to the turkish led hordes. If there's a viable third option I don't see it. And, I'd rather we had to deal with a fascistic EU in ten years than a European caliphate in thirty.

This Islamic horde thing is a "religious" problem and has a "religious" answer. Let the EU have a "Christian" based constitution and all will work out. This Islamic horde thing is worse than when the Christians were persecuted by Rome. At least rome had a structured and semi-civilized society. The islamic hordes are from a false God and have a self-procliamed prophet that is a terrorist and a pedohpile. There may be many Christian martyrs of every color (especially in Africa) before its all over.

We could end up with both. Think of the three global areas on Orwell's 1984. I can see that happening, though there would probably be 4 global areas: a Caliphate covering Turkey and spreading up through eastern Europe, a fascistic and socialized eastern Europe having become a single nation under the EU, a Communist controlled Asia, and us, battling admixtures of the other three to our north and south.
