Anybody know how Islam stands on Evolution of Species? Would be fun to present Creationism in a public school setting and give a shrug, "This is what Islam teaches. I thought the students would want a diverse viewpoint."

There needs to be mindset change among the American people in order to stop seeing Islam as a religion. It's more analogous to communism than a true religion. We need to reinstate the McCarran Act (of 1950) and treat Islam as essentially a subversive ideological threat to this country controlled by foreign powers.

This all falls into Osama Bin Laden's general plan to bring back the Caliphate. The moron teachers especially need to go back to school and take some history classes on the Muslim religion then and now.

I think this statement says a lot. If you have to found groups that portray something in a postive way, that means it must be viewed in another way.

If this was an honest effort to bring Islam into the American mainstream and make it just another religion peacefully coexisting with other religions, I'd say more power to them.

As a former teacher, I have to disagree on this one. School Choice is the only way to bring legitimat, affordable, competition to the education arena. When public schools start loosing droves of students to private institutions, they will shape up. Until then, students will continue to be programmed with liberal ideals that take years to root out.
