"This was really painful," he said Tuesday, several days after his release on Sunday. Imagine what it must be like to have you head sawed off...

"An Iraqi journalist who stayed in Fallujah to report on the battle for his hometown says he and hundreds of other civilians who eventually turned themselves in to escape the violence suffered tough, sometimes humiliating, treatment from American and Iraqi guards. "
Poor baby! I wonder when these terrorists are going to learn that Marines are their worst nightmare.

An Iraqi journalist who stayed in Fallujah to report on the battle for his hometown says he and hundreds of other civilians who eventually turned themselves in to escape the violence suffered tough, sometimes humiliating, treatment from American and Iraqi guards. Did they get their heads sawed off while their captors shrieked "Allah Akbar"?
No?
Then STFU, you pantywaisted crybaby.

I too thought detention by the Marines was all gumdrops and ice cream parties. Boy we all need to rethink our position in Iraq.
Thank Allah for these truth seeking reporters

An apology from NMR Guy to Abdul-Qader Saadi:
Let me be the first to apologize, on behalf of the American people, for not bringing a luxury hotel with us to Fallujah for you.
Also, I am horrified to learn that our troops actually searched people they encountered in a war zone, and did not have time to properly wait on you hand and foot in order to provide regular meals.
Finally, as so insightfully noted in this article, this situation is an especially "humiliating experience for an Arab", who as long as he is a Muslim, is entitled to be treated as superior to other human beings. I am deeply saddened that our nation continues to oppress you by opposing your God-given right to commit genocide and enslave other peoples.
Sincerely, NMR Guy

To: Zhangliqun
Abdul-Qader Saadi said he was subjected to multiple searches and interrogations; went unfed the first two days; was blindfolded and handcuffed; and had to sleep for days in a wooden cage buffeted by cold winds at a desert detention camp. |

Honestly - he has his head - doesn't he - even if it appears to be filled with a brain less than normal -
He should be shown the Sand tape - or pictures of captives who weren't so lucky - the ones held by the terrorist -
The old media is the enemy - and should be treated as such -
To: Zhangliqun
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't both the US and Iraqi forces tell ALL civilians (including, one must assume, non-imbedded journalists) to LEAVE?
Too effin' bad. He's lucky he's alive.
To: Zhangliqun
Young male of combat age in a war zone surrenders long after he's told to evacuate...and those mean ol' Marines are suspicious of him. Something about the booby-trapped corpses and the guys faking death to shoot at them must have turned the boys cynical or something...
