Also, I am horrified to learn that our troops actually searched people they encountered in a war zone, and did not have time to properly wait on you hand and foot in order to provide regular meals.

Finally, as so insightfully noted in this article, this situation is an especially "humiliating experience for an Arab", who as long as he is a Muslim, is entitled to be treated as superior to other human beings.
