Excerpted: Thomas rejected that, too, claiming that Condi's family had opposed Dr. Martin Luther King and that she and her folks had not supported the civil rights movement. In fact, Thomas then made the bizarre claim that Condi's family wouldn't even patronize black-owned stores. Thomas had little substantiation for any of these allegations.

Ohhhhhhh ... K. You can't get much more bizarre than this. I've heard the fascist comments about Bush, and the liar comments about both him and Condi (and all other Repubs..), but to call Condi a racist is... out there. Even for Helen.

This is the new meme you'll be seeing. Thomas just let it out before she should have. Condi is "not really black". The rest of it is all just some rant by a has-been correspondent who should have been fired years ago.
