As unthinkable as it sounds, they'd probably wish that Mary ended her pregnancy with Jesus.

Now that's just plain creepy!

Thanks for the ping Mr. Silverback. I just sent them the following email:
"Don't you remember when you first got involved with abortion? How those pangs of dread and guilt were there? Have you buried the truth so deeply that you simply don't think about what you are doing any more?
If God would remove the scales from your eyes, you would SEE the horror you promote. I pray that these scales would be lifted. I pray that you will repent before its too late. He will forgive you if you are sincere."
The Lord wants them admonished in love. This hideous situation is Satan's doing. His time is very short.

I am totally baffled as to why people would even choose to do this.IMHO, some people do this because they are misled in believing that ending a pregnancy will make all their problems go away. They believe the lie. The abortion only adds to the problems in their lives, but PP and cohorts don't divulge that information.
And then there are others who really are very selfish and evil that choose abortion.
I, too, saw the link you referred to in your earlier post and was horrified. Many people would change their minds about abortion if they saw these pictures. They are truly disturbing. I'll be keeping you in my prayers!

how appropriate that the Planned Parenthood cards show fragile snowflakes, like little clusters of cells, soon to melt away

I think she'd have answered "true" to the statement "the moon is made of cheese" on the test.
what a frickin' moonbat.

Warmest wishes for a peaceful holiday season When one separates Christmas from Christ, and so reduces it to a generic end-of-year holiday, then a group like PPFA can speak of a peace, when they mean death and the coldness of the grave, and others can sue to remove nativity scenes from anywhere and everywhere they may.

The expression is not mere disapproval, there's something more to it...they pretend to be ignoring the signs, but it's still the expression you'd expect to see if her name was Jane Doe and my sign said "Jane Doe is a prostitute." They take the pro-life message not as "This needs to stop," but as "You are an evil, dirty slut and we hate you." It's the only choice they have, otherwise they might have to deal with what they did, and (in most cases) how much of it was out of their control. It's hate us, or hate their mother, husband, sister, ex-boyfriend, any number of people, but first and foremost themselves. The message that Keyes et al. need to somehow get across is that sins can be forgiven if, and only if, sinners repent. Of of the mind traps of liberalism is that people believe that they can be atoned by others' sins. That if enough people do something wrong, it won't be so wrong anymore. What people need to realize is that no amount of pretending that what they did is okay, or wishing that it be okay, or declaring that it's okay, will make it so, but if they recognize that IT (the action) is not okay, that will make THEM (the repentant sinners) "okay", not just in the eyes of God, but likely in their own eyes as well.
If people like Keyes could get the message of atonement to "stick" with a few people, I think it would probably spread itself like wildfire among many of the groups that need to hear it. Liberals would like to paint as a hypocrite anyone who has done something bad, come to recognize it as bad, and started speaking against it. But if someone is sufficiently open about their wayward past, I don't think such a label can really stick.

I feel powerless really. Knowing that I can't do anything about it. It is my hope and prayer that Roe v. Wade does get overturned. Calling it an abortion doesn't even scratch the surface! It's murder, and murder in the first degree! I am totally baffled as to why people would even choose to do this. You aren't powerless! Some things you can do:
- Be chaste, and encourage your friends to be chaste. Unchaste activity, and especially casual sex or "hooking up," is just the flipside of the abortion coin.
- If you are married, don't contracept. All hormonal contraceptives cause an early abortion a small percentage of the time. NFP is a great alternative. It really works, and it improves marriages.
- Since you are 22 and (I'm guessing) female, consider volunteering as a counselor at a crisis pregnancy center. Many of them would be delighted to have you on board.
- Consider joining with other pro-lifers to do sidewalk counseling at an abortion mill. (Warning: it may be unwise for reasons of safety -- legal and personal -- to do this on your own.)
- Boycott business that contribute to Planned DeadBabyhood and other culture of death promoters, and tell those businesses what you are doing and why.
- Vote pro-life, and insist that your legislators vote pro-life.

And all of Campion's other suggestions have great merit too.

My guess about what the inside greeting says:
"Mary was unmarried and pregnant. If PP had been there, Jesus would have been aborted. Happy Holidays."
