"The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections voted Monday to reject one out of three of the 24,472 provisional ballots cast in the Nov. 2 election.
The bulk of the 8,099 invalidated ballots were determined to have been cast by nonregistered voters or registered voters who cast their ballots in the wrong precinct. Voters received provisional ballots at the polls on Election Day if their names did not appear on the voter rolls...
As county elections workers stood watch over a hand truck bearing 10 boxes stuffed with invalidated ballots, an ensemble of lawyers, professors and others who were active in voter registration drives made it clear that the board's decision won't quell the lingering disquiet about the possibility that some legitimate votes won't be counted...
"I find it inconceivable that over 5,000 voters in the county would wait an hour in the pouring rain to vote if they haven't registered," said Dr. Norm Robbins, a neurosciences professor at Case Western Reserve University who volunteered for the Greater Cleveland Voter Registration Coalition."

Really, I had to go to three different places before I could vote because my polling place had been changed and I had not been notified. Not Fraud, just poor communication by the Clerk's office and by me for NOT CHECKING BEFORE I went to vote. But I got to vote and that's what counts.
what it means is a nationwide campaign for walk-in registration on voting day, er, should I say re-registration to spread the joy of one's voting to as many districts as possible. Coming from the DNC to your focus group Real Soon Now.
You have got to be kidding me.
I know of several people who, when I asked if they were going to vote, after they said yes, I asked them "are you registered"?
I got a look as if I had three heads.
"You mean I can't just show up and vote"
Actually, its even better than that. 8,099 votes for Bush also means 8,099 ballots that were not Kerry votes. That's puts Kerry an additional 16,198 votes short, so his best possible lost is 34,198.
Obviously, reality is going to be much worse for him. He'll lose by well over 100,000 votes.
I don't think that they are even allowed to open the envelope to count it if it is determined to be invalid. All the info needed to determine validity is on the outside.
They must have been hurricane refugees.
You are quite correct. People seem to forget the brouhaha that went on prior to the election about that subject. The Dems were trying to get votes counted from voters who did not vote in their proper precincts.

Why am I visualizing Wallace Shawn in The Princess Bride: "INCONCEIVABLE"
Bwahahahaha.
Amazing what democrats will give to get voters to wait that long and vote, free meals, free cigarettes, crack cocaine....
Why doesn't this "professor" actually research the data: actuall;y find out what levels of fraud and corruption are in HIS democratic machine in the inner city?
The democratic herd (their typical voter) has no brain, no mind, and no initiaive: They are told to go somewhere do something.
And that's all they know.
BUT - their bosses - the criminals running (ruining) the inner cities on behalf of the democrat party DO KNOW and still get away with it under their clothes of "racism" and "hatred" .......
