PAUL MULSHINE - is it possible he aspires to be another Dan Rather or Bill Moyer?

He's ugly enough. I bet he's gay too, and unlike Rather, he's out of the closet. A journalist should not have political bias however, therefore Paul Shoeshine will never be anything more than a tabloid writer. See B.S. will never again be considered more than a tabloid either. In fact, the National Inquirer has more credibility than See B.S, does at this point.

Maybe someday, Paul Shoeshine will rise up and become a notable Inquirer columnist! Wouldn't that make his boyfriend proud!

I'm not famaliar with him, but Mulshine sounds to me like another one of the "conservatives" running around crying about "neocons." Clearly he opposes the war in Iraq and joins Michael Moore and other Bush-haters in their contempt for the President. Mr. Mulshine doesn't get it, and I wish he'd stop calling himself a conservative. He's probably too intellectual to be a true Republican anyway.

This is what the left has been reduced to. Name-calling. They don't have anything else.

Fine. Let them howl. Let the spit dribble down their collective chin.

In the meantime, we will continue to roll up more election victories.

I sincerely hope the left is still in full drool-mode (as illustrated by this article), come election day, 2006.

Nation-building. Spreading democracy to people who can't handle it. Spending billions to win "hearts and minds." That sort of thing.

Tell me again who's the moron?

The Iraqie people cant handle Democracy ? tell me who's the brownshirt here ? were not just spreading Democracy were showing those who in some cases have known nothing but pain and suffering that freedom from oppression is a good thing and tyrrany is something that can be defeated but you must have the courage to do it !

Mulshine you truly are a moron Freedom is a God given right you are not God and you are certainly not much of a messanger.

So where should that leave us? most likely ignoring you into the realm of non-existance!

He's no "conservative". How dare he try associate himself with conservatives.
Lets call him "Randy" for now on. As in "Randy" from the "Trailer Park Boys", the assistant trailer park manager.

I'm not [familiar] with him, but Mulshine sounds to me like another one of the "conservatives" running around crying about "neocons."

From Mulshine's piece, a blending of the philosophy of Pat Buchanan and the pseudo-wit of Maureen Dowd:

The myth among the morons is that the liberal media are somehow biased in their coverage of Iraq. Nonsense. Actually the liberals in the media have been extraordinarily sympathetic to the Bush view of the war. Why not? It's a liberal war -- or a neoconservative war if you want to use that term. When it comes to foreign policy, there's not much difference between the two philosophies. Nation-building. Spreading democracy to people who can't handle it. Spending billions to win "hearts and minds." That sort of thing.

Has anyone in the media pointed out how much it's going to cost in American tax dollars to put Fallujah back together again now that we've used American tax dollars to disassemble it? If so, I bet that writer was a conservative, not a liberal. The true conservatives, as opposed to the "neo" variety, were skeptical about this war from the beginning.

You are correct! What do we have for Sittin Yonder, Don Pardo?

And yet demographics showed the only place Democrats gained votes from 2000 is with those without a high school education.

hehehe Yeah, he looks totally psycho. Why ever show pictures of so called "reporters" when they look like he does...it sure doesn't add to his credibility.

"Who do you blame for that sort of thing? If you're intelligent, you blame the commander in chief ...But if you're a moron, you blame the cameraman. That's been the response among many Bush supporters on ... Free Republic, which used to be a bastion of intelligent conservative comment until Bush dumbed down conservatism."

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our posts; we did. But you can't hold a whole website responsible for the behavior of a few sick, perverted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole Internet? And if the whole Internet is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our communications institutions in general? I put it to you, Paul! Isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do what you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you bad-mouth the United States of America!

Gentlemen!

If you're intelligent, you blame the commander in chief -- you know, that slick politician who when he first ran for the presidency promised he would never get U.S. soldiers into the type of nation- building boondoggle in which such incidents become inevitable.

Hey, moron...Bush said that before 9/11 - you know, Clinton's legacy?

I, for one, do not blame a Marine for killing a terrorist in a war. On terrorism. I salute him. I do not blame the Commander in Chief, either. Kudos to him...one less terrorist in the world.

I guess that makes me a moron, huh? And over 60 million others as well?

I've been called worse by scum like you...and I just consider the source.

Moron.

yeah, sorry, I was responding in a equally childish democRAT-ish manner.--(But he does look gay)

In regards to his "conservative" opinion, does he realize that when you smash things, you need to rebuild them?
Just who does he suppose is going to supply all the material to do that? What contracting company will get the bid? France? LMAO! The money will come from Iraq's oil sales. Iraq will be rebuilt and resupplied by the country which had the determination to fight for it's freedom and democracy. It will provide economic benifits to both Iraq, it's people, and America, and it's people and companies with the ability to rebuilt a shiney new, fre Nation.
