And this past weekend in Wisconsin, a Minnesota man armed with an assault weapon was arrested after five people were shot and killed after arguing over a good hunting spot. The gun the killer used, a 7.62 mm SKS semiautomatic rifle, appears to be the same type of gun used by an Alabama man to kill three Birmingham police officers last June.
It has been only ten weeks since the Federal assault weapons ban sunsetted on September 13.

You left out "buckets"....lots of little kids drown in buckets of water.
Hey, go ahead and tell us what some other racial groups are like...maybe you could start with blacks, jews, mexicans, etc.
Of course we only need to look at Jeffrey Dahmer and Bill Clinton to know what whites are like.
Every immigrant group who speaks a different language is difficult to deal with. Then their kids learn the language and culture and are easier to relate to. This guy was a psycho and did an awful thing. It doesn't have to be a referendum on ethnicity.
I almost got an SKS once cause it was so incredibly cheap. Paid a bit more and got a Romanian AK. Glad I did.
They did/do make 20 round fixed replacement magazines for it. Good chance the guy might have had one.
You only have to go to Yahoo and pull up the information regarding the older Hmong. What the article states is why they are here and there background because the older people listen to Shamans and such and that their beliefs are essentially that they make their own rules. The article further states as I did the younger generation does well in adapting to ways of the US.
I do not see where you believe that it was a racial comment.
Paper. Especially the heavy stuff. Paper cuts can be lethal.
While that may be what you learned about the Hmong, I have several that are good friends, including first generation Hmong. They are nothing like the caricatures you extrapolate off the internet. You may have read about the background, but most have come and adjusted well to life in the US. Every racial/ethnic group has a few psychos that take people's lives.
A Hmong killer is in the news.
You use that opportunity to tell everyone how difficult the immigrants are to deal with.
That's like me saying whites (jews, blacks, irish, or whatever) are difficult to deal with when one of their group goes on a shooting rampage.
Racist - The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
You decide.
That's right, at least chased. WHen they found him, he was out of ammo. They're also claiming:
"... killed after arguing over a good hunting spot."
...as if this was a shootout between gun loving morons. It wasn't. The perp's intent was to deny someone their private property rights and kill them when they weren't happy about it and glad to see him. Good hunting spot my arse, it was their land and tree stand.
Just on the radio again...arguement over a tree stand.
I've met several Hmong over the years. Every one of them has been a stright up person - albeit with an unusual sense of humor (yes, actually all of them). All of them have also been very patriotic Americans.
As an aside, those that were in Vietnam and did not come to the United States were largely killed off. Lost I heard, more of the Hmong now live in the U.S. than in SE Asia - though the numbers in China are not well known.
I think you mean Laos, not Vietnam. There are still a lot of Hmong in Laos. The ones that were killed were the ones that were allied with the US during the Vietnam War. Everywhere you go in Northern Laos you will see Hmong. It is impossible not to see them.
You left out churches. That is where to root of that evil conservatism is. And we all know all conservatives are stupid, gun-toting, Evangelical Christians. /sarcasm
Buckets of water. You almost got there with bathtubs. Blackbird.
