Peterson May Join 'The Qs' Infamous Death Row
SAN QUENTIN -- If Scott Peterson is condemned to die he would become the latest addition to a San Quentin Death Row that already houses serial killer Richard Ramirez, known as the Night Stalker, Richard Allen Davis, the killer of Polly Klaas, David Carpenter, the Trailside Killer, and recently arrived Cary Stayner.
Ironically, Peterson could also catch an occasional glimpse across the San Francisco Bay waters of the spot where he launched his boat on Christmas Eve 2002, not far from where the bodies of his pregnant wife and unborn child eventually floated to shore.
Now convicted of their murders, Peterson will be transported to San Quentin if the jury recommends a death sentence following a hearing that begins Monday.
I agree totally! ;-)
I heard a bit of a discussion yesterday about how Geragos' delays are pushing the penalty deliberation closer and closer to the Christmas holidys. Ordinarily, this timing would benefit the guilty party, with a jury reluctant to recommend death and then go enjoy a holiday dinner. However, in this case the timing could harden the jury making them more apt to recommend death.
It will be hard for the jury to recommend life-in-prison, and then send Sharon home to decorate her tree without Laci and Conner present to enjoy it.
Interesting food for thought, and perhaps ANOTHER strike out for Geragos.
Hope everyone's recovering nicely from too much food, inclding Dev.

pinz, when Geragos gets his appeal request denied tomorrow morning, he will have no choice but to go ahead. This last week he will have HAD to get prepared for the penalty phase. Judge Delucchi I'm sure, will NOT allow any more delays.
Lancaster or much of the I5 area we were at, sagebrush, and desert like views.... yuke, I like the Sierra type views..... ;o)
Anyhow, just getting back into the work week.... slow mind going at the moment, and no actual DP hearing on the verdict phase until Tuesday, but all of course pending Geragos charades.....
Thanks for the local report.
Sounds like Scotty's not smirking anymore....

The New York Post is suggesting the Amber might speak for the defense, because she opposes the Death Penalty.
Good grief! Anyone hear anything about this? My guess is that it's just speculation, but still!!!
Pinz
I heard them discussing this on CC this afternoon. NOBODY expects to see Amber!! She would NOT serve the defense well at all!!
Gaaaaaaaaaw, this thread is pathetic!! Any slower and it would be comatose.
