Liberal are truly racist, because they're pseudo-elitists too.

He can say what he wants but I bet less than 10% of those who saw the cartoon would have drawn the comparison to Prissy. To the majority who viewed the cartoon it was racist. You can't have things both ways. It can't be racist when you want it to be but not in others. It's how things are perceived which will determine if it is racist. In this case I believe that to be the case.

"his comparison of Rice to the black maid Prissy in the film "Gone With the Wind" had nothing to do with race but came about "because [Rice] lied about a war."
I'd like anyone who believes that--whether they're conservative or liberal--to raise their hand. Talk about not passing the laugh test.

"Whenever this administration is in trouble, they send out Condi Rice because the press ... gives her a far easier treatment than they would a white male." Correction - if this cartoonist was a conservative making fun of a black liberal, the media would devour him and destroy his career.

Also happens that they're liberals, like this guy. I wonder if this genius has ever thought about that one.

"She lied about ... or she was wrong and didn't know it, in which case she shouldn't be there." I guess this guy called for the ouster of Clinton after he lied to everybody. I'm sure he stated that Clinton shouldn't be there. Yeah, right.

No, Mr. Danzinger, it is YOU and not Condi who has been given a pass by the media.
I hope this little episode is keeping you awake nights, you hypocrit.

The pole star of the American Left has become hate. Can you order your entire life around monomaniacal hatred? I guess so, but as the bard said, "you shall digest the venom of your spleen though it doth split you".

gives her a far easier treatment than they would a white male Ugh what a delusion. How does comparing Dr. Rice to a ignorant slave girl count as getting easy treatment.? Hypocrite !
To: kattracks
It most certainly WAS racist and would not have been tolerated by the MSM had it been about one of their darlings like, say, Cynthia McKinney[just tossing a name].
He is lying when he says it wasn't racist.

I see in the reactions of the cartoonists, an example of liberal racism, and like the MSM, they have been that way so long that they think they are mainstream. Notice how they immediately start name calling and reverting to standard form.

"Whenever this administration is in trouble, they send out Condi Rice because the press ... gives her a far easier treatment than they would a white male." Sure Jeff. If you're not racist, why the insistence on referring to people as "white males?" That's what liberals always do.
Bigot.

What amazes me about this situation is not so much that the liberals while claiming diversity, exhibit the most flagrant racism of any other 2 groups of people other than the KKK and the Nazi's, but that the Black community continues to nod their head in tacit agreement with them.
there's a contrast here with another race of people that were held in slavery.
The Jews.
They sure as hell didn't sit around in the mud and squabble and scream about how the egyptians treated their ancestors, and they don't to this day.
They picked themselves up by their boot straps and continued to march, never looking back.
Some folks could learn a lesson from that. I somehow doubt that they ever will tho.

"She lied about ... or she was wrong and didn't know it, in which case she shouldn't be there."
Let's see if ole Jeff can pass the litmus test for lying.
Did Clinton lie under oath? Did he lie about "having sexual relations with that woman . . . Miss Lewinsky?" Did Kerry lie about his service in Vietnam and his "plans" for his administration? Did Gore lie about winning the 2000 election? Did Bush lie about the 16 words in his SOTU speech? Yellowcake uranium? Hussein's WMD?
Ya see, Jeffy, lies are in the eyes of the beholder. You seem to have selective hearing because Dr. Rice didn't lie. Even the (barely) bi-partisan 9-11 Commission agreed and exonerated the Bush Administration.
But, Jeffy goes on (the esacape clause) that she was "wrong about . . . ". My God, it must be wonderful to be perfect and never to have made a mistake - ever!! Even when you get incorrect information from dozens of other sources! You never added up your checkbook wrong and accidentally bounced a check, Jeffy? Never told someone to turn right when you meant to say left?
But, Jeffy, there is one lie you an't escape - you are a racist bigot and a Dem Party hack!
