Sites sounds reasonable to me except for this one comment. He mentions it as a possible result of hiding the original video.
Who he is referring to, I wonder. Did any marines die in that room? I don't think so.
Is he pretending to believe that the opposing sides in this fight are somehow equivalent?
what a cheapskate, he doesn't reg them both :p
"At that point the Marine who fired the shot became aware that I was in the room. He came up to me and said, "I didn't know sir-I didn't know." The anger that seemed present just moments before turned to fear and dread."
That's because EVERYONE knows an MSM "reporter" from the United States of America doesn't give a damn about who wins this war. Just as long as they get there money shot. That poor marine knew that there was no way the reporter was going to do the right thing. He was about to become "famous", and thanks to this scumbag "reporter", he is... in ALL of the Arab world. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
and over... Why can't the MSM ever do the right thing? It's just crazy that they are allowed to get away with it. THESE ARE OUR MARINES DAMN IT!!!!
Everyone knows NBC is not a safe place for our Troops to be highlighted. NBC is as Anti- American ,in their agenda, as some of the terrorists. Sure, NBC doesn't shoot Americans, or blow themselves up.... But I have no doubt in my mind that they care a twit about Americans who support President Bush or who support our troops.Kevin Sites is making excuses- and I will never forgive him. He was indeed looking for a "gottcha" moment to turn into NBC.
Show of hands. How many believe acts by marines of selfless heroism are about the same as their "darker deeds"? Hey "Kev the Scum" stop pretending you're not a liberal dick.
but now you guys are like the Nazis in Poland...This is a sentiment that Kevin Sites agrees with. His "apology" is a CYA, you folks are having an impact. Keep it up, let NBC know where they can stick Kevin Sites!
For you techies, Kevin Sites' girlfriend is Xeni Jardin, who helps run Boingboing.net. They live together in Beverly Hills.
