John Gibson: The America Haters
FoxNews ^ | Nov. 21, 2004 | John Gibson

Watch "Breaking Point - Hating America" Sunday at 9 p.m. and midnight ET, hosted by John Gibson.

The anti-American Europeans had worked themselves into a fever pitch in the days leading up to the U.S. election, in anticipation of what they were sure would be a result that would prove they had been right all along (about Bush, about the Kyoto Accords, about WMD, about the Iraq Invasion and Occupation, etc.), and that they had finally been able to educate and raise the consciousness of the American voter. When George W. Bush was returned to the White House the gasp across the Atlantic was nearly audible here in the United States.

This week French President Jacques Chirac has gone out of his way to be especially dismissive and insulting of both the United States and its chief ally in the Iraq war, Great Britain. France has decided it's national policy is to be a rival "pole" of power to the United States to try to undermine American leadership, and at the same time to declare loudly that France is America's best friend. France isn't fooling anybody, except perhaps itself.

I watched part of John Gibson's program, it's pretty good. i recommend watching the replay at midnight tonight EST.

All these anti-American people and countries don't understand that we could get along fine without them, they are the ones who need us, especially when the chips are down and they need to be defended.

And while the whole world hates us, or so they say, why is it that everyone in the world still wants to come to America?

Where is the article?

I don't play the "please register and tell us all your private details" game. If fox won't let articles be posted, that's that. Otherwise, post the article if you expect any comment.

I don't believe the whole world hates us. Afterall, who is telling us that? The MEDIA of the world, and we all know what their agenda is don't we?

Where could be the destination? What about Baghdad, with the "flammables" to fly off by parachute on the pallets of C-130s? If they want to go to Canada, what about the northern most, so they will have plenty of land to farm... in the freezing tundra.

And while the whole world hates us, or so they say, why is it that everyone in the world still wants to come to America?

Because America is the best place in the world to be, and the whole WORLD knows it.

Other countries hate us because our power and cultural affluence around the world cannot be matched.

Because America is one of the few countries you can live in, take advantage of and hate, and not get thrown in jail or worse.

If you don't want to register for things, go to www.bugmenot.com and they will give you instructions on how to log in with a previously-prepared and non-traceable name and password. It works for everything but the LA Times.

The article is at the link above. FoxNews doesn't require registration.

And as general information, for many others, you can go to bugmenot.com, which supplies ID & passwords. It's a bit tedious, but at least you get to read articles without registering at every site.

Was a good show. We are getting killed in the propaganda war.

On a side note. I wonder if John Gibson will win the Sexiest Man Alive award this year.

The one thing Gibson did not emphasise enough was the fact that the EU and the Middleast seem to USA hatred as a bogey man to distract from their own government/society failures.

I echo your sentiment, IT IS VERY WORTH WATCHING.

Can't get to the Fox computer link--but it sounded like a synposis of his book.

The Eurabia "problem" is the greatest one facing the West right now. Few people understand the dynamics that geography and demographics play in any international situation and this one is clearly a demographic time bomb.

I watched most of it. Missed some of the first part. It was very informative. For those who can't stay up and watch the repeat, it is worth the trouble to tape it. Very good show.

It was just a short article. Gibson had a one hour TV special earlier today, which will be repeated in 45 minutes, at 12 midnight EST.
