Just announced: The USSS demanded that Metal detectors be used for ALL entering dinner tonight, and the Chile President *Didn't want to subject his guests to that* so they scaled back the meeting to those already "swept"
I'm sure others wiil add details
feel free to add details
Something troubling is going on there in the background.
Bring Dubya home now!
No problem. If Chile doesn't want to give President Bush the time of day, no problem. They want something from us, not the other way around. The president of Chile can get stuffed, have a nice day.
I agree. Hmmm ...
How much longer will President Bush be there?
hmmm...unless I was a terrorist, I would be happy to be "swept" along with the other "guests". The Chilean president's sense of decorum is pushing the envelope.
Memo to GWB:
Get outta Dodge.
Let's hope GWB's Dad has enough deep inside connections from his days at the Agency to keep his son alive....
Let's wrap him in prayer
Too much weird, bad security in Chile in the last day or so.
Get him out of there. Seriously.
I don't normally worry about stuff, but I really have a bad feeling about this.
Funny how different people see things differently.
Ihen I'm asked to walk through a metal detector ANYWHERE, I assume the people in charge have a reason for subjecting me and others to it. I'm gratified when I take the Greatkids to Great America and I see the babycarriages/strollers/
women's purses and all bags checked! I'm not bringing in any problem and neither is anyone else with that kind of security.
Maybe the President of Chile "trusts" all his guests and their entourages! Wait until one them blows up in his face!
GTF out of there!
This is ridiculous...
This statement, combined with the incident where the President had to intervene to get an SS agent into the building yesterday, gives me a very uneasy feeling.
I hope that our SS is adamant that it is to be our way or no way at all, when it comes to the security of the POTUS.
Geez, I thought that the people suggesting that the incident with Bush's SS bodyguard might have been an assassination attempt were suffering from tinfoil poisoning.
Now, I'm not so sure.
Wasn't it the Chilean President that was re-elected this past Summer? He had somewhat of an endorsement from Castro. Figures, the Chilean President robbed the election and is a freakin' Commie dictator.
Right...it is time to leave!
When does he come home
