I used to write letters to the editor. When you have a complaint about something, isn't that the standard reply you get from others? But what happened when you did that? You'd compose the letter, let it rest overnight and rewrite it. Between the time you would send it off and 'might' get a reply it would be maybe two to three weeks. In the end you were always left at the mercy of Ms. Fancypants Gatekeeper who may or may not decide to publish your letter.
Waiting for a reply around here is a truly gratifying experience.

and, its fun. i like having little conversations with people who reply. after a while, you get to know some of them. for me its Spook86, Diogenes, FormermilitaryChick, Henchman, and so on. Hello. I like the Zots. I like the sarcasm. I like the pictures, and the "rules". Some of the threads leave me ROTFL for sure. i like your posting, well done. :)

A better thread may be WHY is FR so damn addicting? I think there have been several threads in the past, discussing that topic, ie: "You know you're addicted to FR when..."
Is it really just an insatiable appetite for information?
That's pretty much it for me I guess, plus when online I mysteriously lose all concept of TIME (even though I can clearly see that clock in the lower right-hand corner of my screen).
Uh-oh... it's 2am. Time to (sadly) sign off... good night! ;-)
