GMTA!
Yes, I want Scottie to get the real feel of the general population. :)
The US Supreme Court determined the death penalty was cruel and unusual and everyone on death row had their sentence commuted to life.
Horton's sentence was commuted to life in prison.
Michael Dukakis thought this conviceted murderer was entitled to weekend passes out of jail.
The rest is history.
Garagos didn't charge a dime. It was all pro bono. Why do you think he didn't bother to show up when the jury came back?
Yes, it always does my heart good when Sirhan Sirhan, Charles Manson, Squeaky Frome and others go in for their parole hearings. What a revolting situation.
Ouch. Well Scott did get what he paid for then. LOL
As much as I dislike Garagos, the verdict came in early surprising just about everyone. He was in Los Angeles.
I totally believe in the death penalty, but there are things worse than death. Life in prison, in a small cell 23 hours a day would qualify as worse than death where scott is concerned.
No golf, no women, no fancy clothes or haircuts. Just surrounded by angry men who hate baby killers.
No it was not Pro Bono! Mom and dad hocked house and all they had!
He lied to his parents about a golf scholarship to San Jose State College.
He left the school under suspicious circumstances.
Not sure what she knew but I remember early on in the case a woman came on TV and said that her daughter disappeared from her college campus and when the police wanted to question Scott he refused.
There is something else out there on this piece of garbage.
From what I have garnered about Pelican Bay, I suspect incarceration there would be a good deal worse than death.
And, I suspect that is where this case is heading.
If not, a carton of smokes and a phone call can make it so.
There is something else out there on this piece of garbage.
Bingo!
Take Poll!

Yeah, I remember the missing woman at ASU whom he had dated(?) Was it ASU? I think this was a topic within the first few months when Scott was "a person of interest". Speaking of missing women--where is Nancy Grace? Grete, you're off your game--Nancy Grace is missing... and Grete is not covering it...
She's a great commentator but does get overly emotionally involved in the cases.
No. And I don't care.
Life in the slammer will be miserable enough, and as others have stated, there was no physical evidence.
I Firmly believe that there has be be a "certainty" of guilt to impose the death penalty, However, IF the person is guilty, if they are Old enough to know what they did, doesn't matter what the reason, including being intoxicated, or drug use, then, lets just "dig the Hole", and remove ourselve's from paying to keep these live's without purpose or value, behind bar's.. there should not be the number of guilty people on death row, caskets are much more cost efficient.
I hope he gets death but chances are the waiting list is to long. This guy is a cold fish. He deserves the maximum sentence.
