In the mid-1970s, Qaddumi developed contacts with the United States. Palestinian sources said the contacts led to the recognition by President Jimmy Carter of the Palestinian right to self-determination. One day, America will recognize the absolute incompetence and possible treason of Jimmy Carter. Carter's policies and lack of backbone have done more harm to America than our enemies ever dreamed possible.

Damn Carter. From the Panama Canal to the Peacock throne
to Carter's link to al Qaeda, evil is as evil does.

"These incidents caused America to reexamine its foreign policy to find the causes of terrorism." And we found them - Islam.

Here we go again. But look at the bright side. It's unlikely this guy will ever get a Nobel peace prize or get invited to the White House or Camp David. Plus Israel may not be as hesitant to knock this guy off like they were with Arafat.

Qaddumi also has advocated using the Islamic oil weapon against the United States. He said the oil weapon could be a more powerful weapon against the West than terrorism or war. "We thank God that the oil begins to take a new position from which it will be possible to use in that war," Qaddumi said. "World demand for oil is increasing. Therefore it becomes possible to use oil to exert pressure."
Suppose Saddam had won his war against Iran. What would he have won? Oil fields and port facilities. Suppose he had held onto Kuwait. What would he have won? Oil fields and port facilities.
Suppose then, he managed to grab Saudi Arabia. Not so far fetched an idea, since the royal family was hot for some strange reason to stop the madman, even if it meant putting infidels on sacred Saudi soil. What would Saddam have gained? Two thirds of the world's proven oil reserves.
What terms and conditions might he have imposed upon the energy-dependent western world then? Would Europe have stood up to him? Would we?
Saddam posed many threats, I think. Others may be posed to take his place.

Well, I'm afraid this will be the end of the Palis. Israel will not put up with another 50 years of this crap. They are going to be walled off and shut down, and if that doesn't do the trick they will be eliminated.
Sorry Palis, you're blowing it, again.

When Arafat died I couldn't believe that I was hearing that this is a chance for peace. None of the so-called Palestinian leadership wants anything to do with peace. I wish the world would wake up to that fact and deal with it. After all the years of BS it seems ignorant to me that our leaders believe there is a chance for peace. Actually, I don't think they do, they just can't say it.
