I know it's fun to single out N.D. folks, but the simple truth is that the lovable little scoundrel pulled off this same act at EVERY place he ever coached!

FYI, here is how Pickens County, home of Clemson; and Richland County, home of USC; voted in the Presidential election.
Pickens: Bush 29,706 (73.4%); Kerry 10,272 (25.4%).
Richland: Bush 55,922 (42%); Kerry 75,863 (57%).
Any questions?

This is happening even at the Pee-Wee sports. Here it's the parents brawling at those. The kids stand and watch --- the kids are just trying to have fun but not the parents.

Gangsta rap is vile. I read somewhere that it is a form of Black self-hatred. Lot of non-Blacks are into Gangsta rap and dress like them. I wonder if it's that --- violence at European sports events has been common --- and far more violent --- not just fist fights and beer throwing but resulting in deaths.

I pointed this out on another thread. Land grant Colleges are where the little people go and are more conservative.
Plus Clemson turns out among the finest engineers.

His PSA on rush is stupid. He recruits stupid players wherever he goes.
His hotel commercial is stupid. He is leaving a loser. And his was a moron to get into the middle of a brawl.

What's next, a fight at a figure skating competition? PGA players leaping into the crowd throwing punches?

Is spurrier a great coach, or was florida (the state, not the university) just a bastion for excellent high school football players and outstanding high school programs?

Is spurrier a great coach, or was florida (the state, not the university) just a bastion for excellent high school football players and outstanding high school programs? The first is debatable, the second is certainly true ... and Florida ain't that far from S.C.

I think people are blowing this way overboard. It's football not a sunday school tea party. Football is a rough sport and I'm surprised that there are more brawls in baseball than football.

Seriously, why are there are more brawls in sports? This is what happens when the rule of law breaks down. The players know that nothing bad will happen to them if they act in an unsportsmanlike manner.
