I look for these mechanical verbs:
When Republicans say something; it's followed by "claim", "believe", "charge".

When Democrats say something they: "point out", "maintain", "defend".

It's so predictable, it HAS become "mechanical".
As Rush Limbaugh calls it: "The Media Template"

A terrific read. Thanks for the ping FBD. Mark Twain had insights that have withstood the test of time, eh? One of my favorites, particularly as it relates to the media:

A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

FGS
