I could be wrong but...

If I remember correctly Porter Goss didn't say "our job is to support the administration and it's policy's" as Ms Dowd and other lib's continue to claim.

I remember the memo as saying something like "our job is not to make policy" Any help?

Maureen is a "bitter drunk".

She is irrelevant...preaching to the choir.

We must step past her ranting and continue on with our agenda.

Supreme court, no gay marriage, parental rights, national
sovrenty, kill Islamo-facists,Cut taxes, and the hearts and minds of America will follow us.

And Maureen Dowd will loose again in 4 years.

She is a relic of the past...the Old Media.

A "bitter Drunk"

A looser.

A Liberal.

I assume these Catherine Zeta Jones shots make posting Dowd columns more palatable to the males of this forum. ;)

(Not to mention the catty jab at Dowd--something she is very capable of understanding.)

I like the late 80's pic of the very young Jones--before her nose job. Cute.

Nope. CZJ is Dowd's ex-boyfriend's Wife.
Dowd's ramblings have gotten more nutzo since he left her.
Dowd reads FR.

Our own way of rubbing her nose in her misery.

The pics aren't too bad, either.

Never in all my years have I ever read a document that is so full of lies and distortions as this document.
And we wonder: how do people and countries become the bad guys? This is how...

LOL! I know the Dowd/Douglas/Jones triangle angle. It's a great jab at frumpy, catty Meow Dowd.

It goes like this: Michael Douglas did his bit for the party when Dowd was beginning to go after the Clintonistas. Douglas wined, dined, and well, whatever, the Old Maid, er Media, Dowd until her columns returned to their conservative-bashing form.

Then Douglas dumped Dowd for a real babe nameed Catherine Zeta-Jones and furthered his genes with her, leaving the menopausal Dowd to drown her sorrows in booze and Sex and the City reruns. The rest is FR history. :)

This woman needs to get out into the real world for a change. She is a self-indulgent, self-proclaimed intellectual. The problem with most 'intellectuals' is they constantly confuse 'an intellectual' with someone who is 'actually intelligent'.

Maureen,

Go to your corner, click your heals together and chant, There's no President like Clinton, There's no President like Clinton. Who knows, you may just wake up happy. In the meantime you won't be writing drivel for the rest of us you old bat.

That is better, MUCH better. Thanks.

These Dowdy threads are now much better than the Coulter/Ingraham threads. Maybe CZJ could handle a talk show? Handle a talking head tour on those wacko TV shows.

The whole point of this column was contained in the first line. Maureen went to see "Pericles" - one of the more obscure Shakespeare plays - and she wants us to know how cultured she is. The rest of the column is just filler.

Stop kissing Pinch's a$$, Mo', and then we'll start to pay some attention to you. Until then, you have no standing.

"If I remember correctly Porter Goss didn't say "our job is to support the administration and it's policy's" as Ms Dowd and other lib's continue to claim."

I believe you are right. He instructed the agency to provide intel without trying to make or influence policy, explicitly not in opposition to administration policies. That is no more than any agency should be expected to do.

I am so sick of this "no exit strategy" crap. Name a war that was ever entered into with an exit strategy.
