Well, finally the Lightweight John Edwards leaves his Senate seat...he did not give it up, like he likes to say, he was forced out for being a failure and very unpopular in his home state. Bye bye Edwards and forget about 2008, it a'int happening!

I heard he had to ask directions how to fine the place.
To: Jose Roberto
I'm shocked that he could remember how to find the Senate floor. He's taken a check for years for doing little or no work for those of us in NC. Bye-bye, jerk.

The Breck Boy can always go and "carpet bag" his way in NY -- methinks there will be an open Senate seat there in '08...
Hey, they were victimized by a "foreigner" one time, they might fall for it again...

Move over, Geraldine.
Edwards joins the ranks of the 'also-ran-didn't-win-may-get-a-commentary-gig-on-newstalk-in-20-years' class.

It was a phrase used in the British press - John Edwards is the man with a brilliant future behind him. ;)

"Said Edwards: "This fight goes on."..."
And it did......in Detroit last night as the Pistons took on the Indiana Pacers.
Looked like a typical RAT party to me ---"I'll fight for you"!

"...This fight goes on."
But of course! A good leftist just doesn't realize when he's been soundly beaten! They are THAT smart! We won't soon forget him but he won't think about this if he runs again. We beat him badly here in NC!
This turd will turn into another Algore, and in couple of years he'll lean his overweight, hulking mass across a podium and vomit his leftist agenda into a frenzied audience. He's going to be like a canker sore that we can't get rid of...like a bad rash....like a boil in a BAD place!...bad breath....a dirty diaper that just WON'T clean up.
I do wonder though...with his reputation, I can't help but think that this is going to affect the care that his wife gets. Even if they don't realize it, I think this is happening. I'll bet "smart boy" never thought of this back when he was playing his courtroom theatrics against the pharmaceutical industry.
I wonder what it feels like to wrongly gain so much cash against an industry, only to (potentially) have to turn around and spend it on a sick loved one? I take no joy in thinking about this, but I wonder if he thinks about it this way?
Probably NOT.

Edwards' wife was grilled by Katie Couric about why she didn't get a mamogram earlier. No had no good answer.
